Pentatonix is a group that is known for putting their own twists on favorite songs. The group's latest spin on a classic Christmas song has a spooky sound that is sending chills down the spines of listeners.

For those who enjoy the holiday season, it's a time when you can wear a warm sweater while drinking a cup of hot chocolate and sitting around listening to Christmas music. Before everyone begins to get into the Christmas spirit though, the five people who make up Pentatonix decided to try a rendition of a popular song from "The Nightmare Before Christmas," a Halloween movie by Tim Burton that many people have seen numerous times. While singing the Halloween song, they added a few festive details as well.

Many viewers know that the group members enjoy wearing red and green while they perform holiday songs. Once this video begins, you can see that they are wearing their classic colors. Their appearance is soon transformed to one that is haunting and a bit playful. The background changes, the decorations change, and there is a change in the makeup on each person to deliver a stellar Halloween performance that is comparable to their Christmas hits.

Few people might think that a Halloween and Christmas music video could blend together, but Pentatonix has shown that with a little imagination, music knows no boundaries as to the holiday or the style. Kirstin Maldonado even jumped on board with the transformations and had fun with the video, changing from a sugarplum fairy to a lady in black.

When the end of the video comes, you'll be surprised at how well the song is constructed along with the tone of the voices of each member of the group to deliver a fun take on a favorite for many people who have watched the Tim Burton movie.
