PARK-GOERS IN TEARS AS DOG REFUSES TO LEAVE WITH HIS OWNER

Have you ever been out in a public place and witnessed a small child refusing to get up and go when their parents want them to? Though it's definitely frustrating for the parents, it can be a bit amusing watching these tiny humans flopping on the ground, unwilling to budge. It turns out that doggie parents can have the same type of struggle with their pooches. This hilarious video of a stubborn golden retriever who is reluctant to leave the park has viewers around the world rolling with laughter!

When the pet's owner decided it was time to leave the park that's when the pup's protest began. He threw himself flat on the ground and went into "dead weight" mode. The owner went to great lengths to try and change his furry friend's mind, but all to no avail. He simply wouldn't budge!

Pulling the dog up by his paws didn't work. Neither did tugging carefully on the leash. This owner must have felt almost at his wits' end. Then he decided to think outside the box and try something a little unconventional. He started scanning the ground nearby for sticks. After all, every dog enjoys a good game of fetch, right?

The unconvinced puppy just seemed to ignore his owner's stick enticement strategy. In fact, he seems to have his owner right where he wants him. He waits until the owner brings sticks close to his mouth and then he snatches them without moving up from the ground an inch! What a clever little stinker this dog is!

That's when the owner came up with a brilliant little plan of his own. He spied a large stick lying on the ground close to where the dog was having his tantrum. Knowing that this prize would be more than his pup could resist, the owner put the stick into his own mouth! Instantly, the dog was intrigued by this unusual turn of events. This act of spontaneity did the trick and the furry friend got up and took off with his owner.
