Michael Jackson is known worldwide for his music and entertainment legacy — he wasn't named the "King of Pop" for nothing. His long career full of hit songs, show-stopping performances, and celebrity collaborations has made him a household name. And although his life wasn't without controversy, there's no denying that Jackson left an indelible mark on music history.
Jackson was born into a musical family and formed a band with some of his brothers called the Jackson 5. After finding great success, Jackson later embarked on a solo career, releasing chart-topping hits and winning plenty of awards. The 1980s were iconic for the star as he released two notable albums, "Thriller" and "Bad," and also debuted his signature moonwalk dance.
While Jackson's personal life sparked public interest, he was primarily a pretty private person. During his life, Jackson was the father to three children: Michael Joseph "Prince" Jackson Jr., Paris Jackson and Prince Michael "Blanket" Jackson II, who now goes by the name Bigi. The children were mostly kept out of the spotlight aside from a few rare occasions but have since been thrust back into the spotlight every now and then.
Typically, whenever any of Jackson's children make an appearance in public, they are sure to reference their iconic father and his legacy. For example, they were sure to attend the Broadway show "MJ: The Musical," opening in February 2022. In addition, Paris and Prince also paid tribute to their late father at the 2022 Tony Awards.
The love that the Jackson children hold for Jackson is undeniable, and it's clear that they will always carry on his long-lasting legacy.

Pop music would not be what it is today without the musical talents of Jackson. Although he is no longer with us, his legacy has surely lived on and continues to inspire many fans and artists all over the world.
Jackson first found success as a member of his family group, the Jackson 5. Even though he was the youngest in the group, he was a standout, and Rolling Stone even named him a "prodigy," explaining that he "quickly emerged as the main draw and lead singer" of the group. Jackson continued to perform with his siblings while also making music independently before eventually jumping into a full-time solo career. The performer became influenced by other musical genres, making his own sound more complex, and pushing him into new directions.
Jackson continued to make his mark on the entertainment industry through every decade of his career, with a plethora of hits, including "Billie Jean," "Beat It," "Thriller," "Man in the Mirror," and "Black or White."
Nowadays, Jackson's children are his living legacy. Bigi is still shy but is working on growing more into his own. Paris signed a contract with IMG Models in March 2017 and made her acting debut with a guest-starring role on the television show "Star" around the same time. Paris made her film debut in 2018 with a role in "Gringo." She has also released music.
Prince has also appeared in a public capacity on numerous occasions, telling the "Los Angeles Times" that "music is a big part of (his) life." He added, "It shaped who I am because of my family, but I've always wanted to go into production. My dad would ask me what I wanted to do and my answer was always producing and directing."
