P!nk’s Preteen Daughter Triumphs On Stage In ‘Surreal Moment’ During Her Mom’s Tour

The indescribable feeling of pride that comes with being a parent is as wholesome as it gets. Parents bask in such precious moments, from watching their child take their first step and saying their first word to showing off their talents in public. For music star P!nk, it was the moment her young daughter Willow Hart took to the vibrant stage during the opening night of her Summer Carnival Tour on June 7, 2023. The youngster had quite a euphoric moment as she displayed her unique vocal abilities like her superstar mom.

Willow is the first of two children P!nk shares with her spouse Carey Hart in their marriage, which is close to two decades. The music star and former motorcycle racer welcomed their first child, Willow Sage Hart, on June 2, 2011, as they began their journey through parenthood. The couple welcomed their second child Jameson Hart in 2016. 

Since becoming a mom, the award-winning songstress has documented wholesome family moments and her kids' milestones on social media. P!nk is also quite candid about her parenting style. 

For Willow's 12th birthday in 2023, the proud mom took to Instagram sharing several snaps curating Willow's moments from infancy. The first photo was a mother-child snap showing the pop singer cradling little Willow. 

The progression of each slide became even more heart-melting as the youngster advanced in age. P!nk did not hold back her motherly feelings as she poured out her heart and wished her daughter a happy birthday. Carey made a post of his own that celebrated his beloved daughter. 

Besides flaunting her kids on social media from time to time, P!nk has been open about how she navigates her parenting style. She was moved when Willow joined her on stage in June 2023.

The star mom is quite close to her little ones, and she has revealed this. P!nk once stated on "The Drew Barrymore Show" that she and Willow were quite close and talked about everything. The singer gushed that their relationship was "great." Despite the seamless mother-child connection, P!nk has reservations about certain things. She prohibited her mods from using smartphones at a young age. 

In an interview on 103.5 KTU with Carolina Bermudez and Greg T, the "Just Give Me A Reason" crooner revealed that Willow was the only preteen without a phone in her class. The singer stated it was hard keeping up with such because many of her peers owned phones. While the star mom does not want to keep her daughter from using such gadgets, she expressed her wariness about the downside of the Internet.

It is noteworthy that P!nk wants her kids to be independent, and this has geared her to have them work with her. The star mom also reminds her daughter of self-love and acceptance. Once issuing an acceptance speech at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards, the singer shared a strong message addressed to Willow. She recalled how the young girl was skeptical about her physical looks. The celebrity mom made sure to remind her child that she was beautiful and beauty came in all forms. 

Besides inspiring her daughter to embrace her beauty, P!nk has also inspired Willow regarding music. The youngster has proved she can belt up a storm whenever it calls. She has displayed her singing abilities several times, one of which was during "The Disney Holiday Singalong."

Willow's vocal prowess was indisputable, and she never shied away from delivering a good melody. In 2021, her musical talent took on a progressive turn when she and her mom duetted on "Cover Me In Sunshine." Willow would later perform the TikTok-famous song at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards. 

Willow made it to her mom's Instagram page in a December 2022 post where she performed at her school's recital. A proud P!nk showed Willow dressed in a black dress with matching shoes, and she carried off a smooth rhythm. Willow performed Olivia Rodrigo's "The Rose Song" song from "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series." 

While it is clear that Willow took after her mom in the vocal aspect and is gradually entering the music world, she might choose a different career path with time. P!nk alluded to this in an interview with USA Today, as she noted that her daughter's dream was to become a baker. 

"It's not her dream," Pink told the outlet. "She wants to go to the Culinary Institute of America and become a baker in New York, and then have an amusement park and possibly a water park. She's been sending me Zillow listings of condos near Disneyland."

It’s safe to say that Willow has a good head on her shoulders, and it appears that P!nk has helped give her the proper tools to create a bright future for herself.

Before she embarked on her 2023 tour called Summer Carnival, P!nk appeared on Today and revealed that her kids would be joining her. She made it known that Willow had a job and she would be paid a minimum wage with respect to each state. 

The singer explained:

“I said it’s about $22.50 a show depending how long I go, if I run over. She goes, ‘I’ll take $20. it’s easier to do the math.’ I’m like ‘That’s not how you negotiate for yourself.’ I’m like, ‘You’ll take $25 so it’s easier math.”

Although Willow was ready to join her mom on tour, P!nk made it known in the past that she would stop touring if Willow ever wanted that.

In her conversation on “The Drew Barrymore Show,” P!nk confessed, “I told her there are things you wanna do, and also, this isn’t just my job, and I worked really hard for this.” 

However, she added, "That doesn’t mean that it means more than your childhood or what you mean to me. “I’ll walk away tomorrow. If that’s what you want, I’ll walk away tomorrow.”

The young starlet made it to the big stage as she joined P!nk on her opening night for the Summer Carnival Tour on June 7, 2023. The mother-daughter duo performed a cover of “Cover Me in Sunshine.” Willow’s elated father, Carey, displayed the awe-inspiring moment on his Instagram page. The clip showed Willow on a larger projection, carrying off a tune. He sweetly captioned the post:

“So proud of Willz to get up on stage w/ mama @pink !!!!! Must be a surreal moment for mama to have w/ her lil girl on stage 😢. Looks like 1st show of the tour kicked a**!!!!! Can’t wait to catch up end of this month and see for myself. Summer is grind time ✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻.

All around Willow, the crowd loudly cheered while singing along. Toward the end of the performance, P!nk appeared on stage and hugged her daughter while she fully lived out the emotional moment.
