P!nk, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, began her music career in a girl band. When that didn't work out, she went solo in 1999 at the age of 20 and has never looked back. According to Billboard, she has 15 top 10 hits and is one of the bestselling US music artists. Known for her distinctive, raspy voice and tough, alternative exterior, P!nk has won three Grammy Awards, two Brit Awards, a Daytime Emmy Award, and seven MTV Video Music Awards, including the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
Apart from her music, P!nk is known for being authentic and true to herself. Her lyrics often speak about being real. Not only does this theme appear in her music, but it seems to carry over into her personal life as well. She's often very candid about her struggles and experiences, and she often expresses her desire to be seen as a real person, not just a celebrity.
Not only was she a renowned music icon, but P!nk has also excelled being a mother while being one of the most respected celebrities and singers in Hollywood. Just as much as her music was sought after, her parenting techniques and methods were being lauded by millions of her fans around the world.
On many occasions, P!nk has spoken candidly about her family life, the road leading there, and as well as the struggles she faces as a mother and a wife. With her strong personality inside and outside of her music, P!nk has faced setbacks and, in some instances, internet trolls who have nothing but bad things to say about her. In a Tweet from Apr. 24, 2023, criticizing her body, the beloved singer had the perfect response to the detractor. Read on to learn more about the encounter.
In 2001, P!nk met Carey Hart, a professional motocross racer. They eventually dated soon after. Years later, they sadly separated, but late on decided to make the relationship work after all.
In a grand display of affection, P!nk defied gender standards and proposed to Hart in 2005 during a motocross race. They got married in Costa Rica the year after. After a few years, the couple faced yet another setback that separated them. But after much discussion and making amends, the couple reunited again in 2010. In June 2011, they welcomed their first child, Willow Sage. In 2016, Jameson Moon, their second child and only son, Jameson Moon, came into the world.
Since becoming a full-time mother of two and a well-renowned singer, P!nk has worked tirelessly to incorporate her parenting and her music career together as a mother and as a homemaker.
However, the road leading to her success as a mother and a celebrity didn't come easily for her. In fact, P!nk recalled to Apple Music's Zane Lowe a point in her life when she was discouraged from having children while she was at the peak of her career.
"Everyone told me, 'If you have children right now, your career's over," she recalled. "And I think that's when my career began, really. I mean, I did a lot of stuff before that, but really, truly, I think it's when I started to really understand myself and understand the world and my place in it."
P!nk made it perfectly clear that she wanted to have children and a family, even likening not having kids to a bunny who was given a carrot but still wanted more.

Criticism about women's bodies has become prevalent on social media, subjecting them to various beauty standards. P!nk recent photo on Twitter was definitely an example of it.
In the photo now circulating on Twitter posted by American far-right personality and conspiracy theorist Stew Peters, he commented on the singer's body. P!nk was seen raising her right hand in the air while singing at what seemed to be one of her recent performances.
P! nk's lower torso was seen as she was wearing a black-sleeved crop top which, in effect, exposed her hips. At first glance, one would see a perfectly toned body of a 43-year-old mother of two. However, Peters had some pretty descriptive realizations of what it looked like.
"Those aren't child-bearing hips," he commented, which launched many of his followers to respond with a similar nature. Some even accused her of being transgender, and one even said that she "Looks like an NBA locker room" because of her abs.
Peters' tweet went viral online, amassing more than 11,600 likes and over 1,300 retweets since he posted it on Apr. 25, 2023.
P!nk, who got a hold of the comment, quote tweeted it the day after with the perfect calm clap back.
"Oh, Stewie. Stewie Stewie Stewie. You've got too much free time. 🤡," she quipped.
Many have supported P!nk for her photo, with many seemingly pointing out the obvious that she was working out and had an athletic body.
