Mother Golden Retriever Tries To Comfort Her Whining Puppies By Bringing Them Their Favorite Toys

In this recent clip, the home security camera of a woman in Zhengzhou, China captured a precious moment on video. It was that of a new Golden Retriever mom named Yami trying to console her beautiful little whining puppies.
She kept running back and forth from the one area in the living room to the dog bed grabbing toys in an apparent effort to console her little ones. Two of her little pups were huddled together along the side of the dog bed, while the third one was in a corner zoned out in the comfort of a plush towel.

Yami's new experience with motherhood meant that she was getting on-the-job training. She picked up her favorite toys, perhaps assuming that her puppies would enjoy them as much as she did, and brought them over one by one. She continued to work hard and tirelessly until her babies were all calm and resting peacefully.

What is visible on that camera footage is the loving heart of a caring mother. A good mother responds to the cries of her children. The love that she has for her puppies is visible in the loving way she looks at them. The way she just keeps working without stopping until their cries are soothed lets the viewers know that these little ones are safe in their mother's care.
Whether pet or human, the job of motherhood does not come with a training manual. A job description of what is required of moms would be very, very long. Both human and animal species mothers sometimes just have to learn by doing. Book knowledge and other forms of training may not always work. It's the trial-and-error that teaches mom how to care for their babies.
In the end, mothers are amazing and Yami is no exception. They make many sacrifices for their children even when the children have no idea of how much it costs physically, emotionally, and financially to care for them. And, many moms are okay with that. They just want to do the best job possible at being a good mom. Yami shows us that the motherhood "soft spot" is universal and causes mothers to do incredible things to take care of their babies.
