Sometimes, animals show more compassion than humans. This is a lesson that many people should learn and often disregard. Animals are usually seen as simple beings that only reproduce, eat, and sleep. However, they do exhibit feelings when they know that they are cared for and loved.
Travel to Africa to view how a lion interacts with his friend in the wild to save him from hyenas. Red is a lion that often interacts with other animals, but he was soon overtaken by a pack of about 20 hyenas that didn't seem to want to let him leave alive.

Red was having trouble fighting against the pack, and it seemed as though he had met his match and would soon die unless someone or something came along to help. A hyena might not have the strength that a lion has, but when there are 20 jumping on one animal, the odds aren't all that fair.
Tatu was close by when he heard the commotion. Sensing that there was another lion in trouble, he quickly ran to his aid. With a loud roar, Tatu managed to chase away half the hyenas that were pouncing on Red. When Tatu finally came to Red's side, the rest of the pack left. Red was thankful for his friend that came to his aid when it looked like he might not make it out of the fight alive. It was a sweet moment when Red offered a hug to Tatu on the African savannah.
