Moose Family Sees A Sprinkler

Imagine chilling out in your house when you notice a family of moose playing in your yard. It's a hot day so you have the sprinklers going to water the grass. Suddenly, the moose and her calves are playing in your sprinklers like little kids. It's just too cute for words.
They're having so much fun that they don't care if you're watching at all. That's just what happened in this video that was uploaded by Candice Helm from Eagle River, Alaska.

Moose actually love the water. They spend so much time in it that it can actually prolong their life, as Glacier Guides points out. When they stand in water for hours at a time, it takes stress off of their bones and joints. It's like water aerobics for moose. Being in a couple of feet of water can keep away predators like mountain lions and wolves that look to attack them. It's much harder to sneak up on a moose in the water than on the dry ground.

This sweet moose and calves playing in the water are examples of how playful and fun these animals can be. According to YouTube, it was uploaded and possibly filmed by Candice Helm who lives in Eagle River, Alaska. Moose's calves are naturally curious and carefree. Their mothers are very protective. These animals just seem to be having a grand ole time playing in a family sprinkler. The Helm family probably loves the fact they're getting a personal animal show.
Though the moose and the calves are having a blast, a mama moose can get aggressive if you approach her when the babies are nearby. It's a good thing the family stayed inside filming the playful show instead of trying to go out and interact with the family. This means the moose and the calves may return to this fun watering hole in the future. It's better than a boring river or stream. This watering hole provides hours of fun as the water shoots into the air for them!
Spread the love of this moose and her calves today. It's not every day that you see a beautiful, exotic creature hanging out in your front yard. It's just icing on the cake that these creatures are playing like little kids.
