Mom Captures Baby Talking To Family Dog — Hysterical Howling Match Ensues

If you have ever wondered if your dog was trying to speak to you, you are not alone. I mean, it only makes sense that each grunt, growl, bark or howl would mean something, wouldn't it? Maybe he's hungry, tired, or like us, just wants to talk. Similarly, is baby babble just, well, babble, or does it make sense to the baby? You can often tell babies become frustrated when they aren't being understood. 

An even better question—can babies and dogs talk to each other? This video from 2012 of an adorable baby and Husky having an impassioned conversation is going to answer that very question, and in the process, surely brighten your day! We can’t seem to trace the origin of the video but we found it on the internet and loved it.

That is exactly what this mom, who caught her baby and husky on video, wants to know. At first, it appears the baby and dog are talking to one another as one listens and the other one speaks and vice versa. You cannot help but smile at the cooing and howling.

However, things quickly turn loud, and quite hilarious if we are being honest. The playful banter between the adorable baby and furry friend begins as a give and take. A little babbling here and some howling and grunting there. Soon this playful chit-chat turns into an all-out "who is loudest" contest!

While we cannot be completely sure, it kind of feels like this dog is trying to outtalk the baby. Then, the baby tries to outtalk the dog. From louder and louder howling to louder and louder baby talk amongst some pretty rude, yet hilarious, interruptions, you cannot help but feel the two are in competition.Clearly, both this husky and his human sibling love the sounds of their own voices and it shows in this video.

On the other hand, maybe the canine and baby are engaged in a form of conversation only they can understand. Conceivably, they could be discussing the brand of dog food the owner's purchase. Maybe the baby is commenting about how he would like to try it, too.

Maybe they are tattling on one another for perceived ill-doings. Can you imagine the baby, in baby talk of course, telling momma about how the dog was sitting on the couch again? Or maybe the dog was telling momma about how the baby refuses to potty outside but defecates in his pants instead. The possibilities are endless and equally hilarious.

Or, perhaps the two buddies are sharing advice for coping and growing up in today's unpredictable world. Having a best buddy like this Husky is a blessing for the baby, and we hope they have a long and wonderful future together. Whatever the conversation, you simply have to check out this video.
