Following the success of her Netflix lifestyle show, “With Love, Meghan,” fans of the Duchess of Sussex have gotten to see more of her and Prince Harry’s private life. From hobbies like bee-keeping to some of her famous friends who have made cameos and guest appearances on the show, Meghan Markle has become the talk of the town in Hollywood. Apart from her Netflix show, the Duchess also has an added reason to celebrate. After its release, she launched her highly anticipated brand, As Ever. 

Although she’s been busy with her show and brand launch, the Duchess of Sussex's favorite thing is spending time with her husband, Prince Harry, and their children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, in their stunning mansion in Montecito, California. Judging from the glimpses we’ve gotten into their private life on the show, the Sussexes seem to have settled in well in the United States after leaving the United Kingdom in 2020. They have always been known to protect their children's privacy, even keeping their faces hidden from the press and only posting rare pictures of the two tots with their backs turned to the camera. 

Remarkably, Meghan has been more open about sharing rare images of the two little ones while also keeping their faces hidden. Since her return to Instagram in January 2025, fans have been looking forward to seeing more adorable snippets of Archie and Lilibet, as well as getting glimpses of the Duchess of Sussex in her natural environment.

It’s no surprise that Meghan loves being a mother. In a heartwarming display of affection, the Duchess of Sussex shared an endearing photograph featuring her two children, Archie and Lilibet. The image, posted on Mar. 24, 2025, via a joint Instagram post between Meghan’s personal account and her lifestyle brand, As Ever, has garnered widespread attention, particularly as it highlighted the children’s striking red hair – a cherished inheritance from their father, Prince Harry.​

The Duke of Sussex has previously spoken about this during an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” joking that he thought his wife’s genes would cancel out the red hair gene from his maternal side.

“The Spencer gene is very, very strong,” Harry said, referring to his maternal side of the family. “I actually really, genuinely thought at the beginning of my relationship (with Meghan) that should this go the distance and we have kids that there’s no way the ginger gene will stand up to my wife’s genes, but I was wrong! Go gingers.”

The photograph captured Meghan from behind, holding Lilibet on her hip as the mother and daughter donned matching sun hats. Lilibet’s grip was tight around a small basket while Archie embraced his mother from the opposite side, adorably wrapping his arms around her leg. The children’s vibrant red locks were prominently displayed, stealing the show and drawing admiration from fans and followers alike. Accompanying the image, Meghan punctuated her sweet caption with a dove emoji, encapsulating the tender love within their small family. The post's caption read:

“Every day is a love story 🕊️”
