Maximize Your Mental Clarity And Focus With This 3-Minute Yoga Exercise

Memory problems are mainly a problem for those who are growing older. However, studies have shown that 14% of those between 18 and 39 years of age experience a decline in how their brain functions. The good news is that certain exercises can help fight this problem, no matter what your age is. This series of exercises is called the Super Brain Yoga. It helps balance both sides of your brain while simultaneously directing energy into its core.
1. Start the day early and be sure to face the right direction
Yoga practice is best done in the mornings. So, set your alarm and get up early. Younger people doing these exercises should face the east to where the sun rises. Older people should face to the north.

2. Take off your jewelry
Remove all of your jewelry, including your wedding bands. The next step is to press your tongue to the top of your mouth, right behind the teeth. Leave it in that position while doing these exercises.
3. Get into starting position
Stand up with your back straight. Place your hands at your sides and make sure your feet are in a stable position. Take a moment to get the posture correct before starting the exercises.
4. Put your hands in the correct position
Take your left hand and reach up towards your right ear, across the torso. Gently grasp the right earlobe, with the thumb on the front side. Take your right hand and reach towards your left ear, across the torso. Gently grasp the left earlobe, with the thumb on the front side. Press both earlobes at the same time.
5. Do squats
As you take a deep breath in through your nose, slowly go down into a squat. Make sure your knees don't go past your ankles. This avoids putting excess pressure on the joints. As you exhale, come back up into a standing position. Continue repeating this exercise for 2 to 3 minutes. Keep your tongue pressed to the top of your mouth and keep your back straight throughout the routine.
6. Repeat daily
To get the maximum results, you need to perform this exercise every day. Within a few weeks, you will see a big improvement in your concentration levels. Within a few months, your mental abilities will see major improvements.
7. Get the kids involved
The exercises are simple enough for kids to do. Doing them together will become a fun habit for everyone. The best part is that the kids will get a boost in focus and concentration.
