Mark Wahlberg’s Teenage Daughter Grace Is Her Father’s Doppelgänger In Trippy Throwback Photo

Mark Wahlberg isn't only amazing as an actor, but he's also a big family man as well. In fact, he is willing to do anything for his family.

He began his career as rapper Marky-Mark, and he starred as the frontman for his band, Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch. Soon after, he began his career as an award-winning actor. He's best known for his roles in the "Transformers" series, as well as "Ted" and "The Other Guys." Wahlberg has also served as a producer for five different series for HBO. 

With several different Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations under his belt, the American actor has plenty to be proud of. But there's one area of his life that he is most proud of — his family. 

In 2009, Wahlberg married his wife, Rhea Durham. Durham is an accomplished model and has been on the cover of French Vogue and Marie Claire. She even walked the runway in the 2000 and 2001 Victoria's Secret fashion shows. Together, the couple has four kids: Ella Rae, 19; Michael, 16; Brendan, 14; and Grace Margaret, 13. 

Like most celebrity parents, their children usually look like one or the other, if not a mixture of both. In the case of Wahlberg, his youngest daughter, Grace, seemed to be his doppelgänger as she is the spitting image of her father, as seen in a throwback photo that the Academy Award-nominated father uploaded on Instagram in December 2022. Like most celebrity parents, Wahlberg tries as much as he can to give his children an ordinary life away from the spotlight. 

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Wahlberg said that he sometimes has to watch his kids' sports games from the car. He said that his kids often don't allow him to be seen with them around their friends.

"Me being in the public eye, there are pros to that, but there's a lot of cons," he said. "My kids wanna have their own identity, you know? I'm not allowed to get out of the car at football practice or a game. I gotta sit in the car and watch."

Wahlberg said that though he was upset at first, he wanted to do whatever he could to make his children happy. 

"At first I took it personally, because I wanna be there to support them, but supporting them is by making them feel comfortable in what they're doing and them having their own identity too," he said. "It's very difficult." 

Wahlberg has always been supportive of her children. In fact, his youngest daughter, Grace, who loves horses and equestrians – gets his full support and encouragement from him and Durham. 

"Proud of my baby girl. 🐴🥇🏆❤️," Wahlberg wrote in a photo gallery on Instagram celebrating his daughter’s big win. On Grace’s birthday, Durham prepared her daughter a horse-themed cake.  

“That’s a wrap on your 1st ever day of being 13 my sweet,hilarious,kind and slightly horse obsessed girl! Keep shining bright 💟1️⃣3️⃣,” Durham captioned her post. 

Wahlberg’s competitive spirit isn’t the only thing that Grace has inherited; she also got her father’s good looks!

In July 2023, Wahlberg sat down with Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” for an interview, and they talked about the accomplishments of his daughter, Grace. 

"She's already traveling the world, jumping horses and doing her thing," Wahlberg joked. "Of course, she picked the most expensive sport possible.” 

Fallon then asked if the actor tried to talk her daughter out of it, but he assured him that he did not. 

"And she takes so much pride in the little stuff," Wahlberg continued. "She's at the barn every day, shoveling poop ... she's up before me."

Grace did not just acquire his father’s determination and love for an active lifestyle. As she grows up, she looks more and more like her father. 

In a trippy throwback photo that Wahlberg shared on Instagram in December 2022, fans had to squint their eyes and do a double take when the actor posted a side-by-side photo of Grace and a younger version of him. 

Wahlberg’s hair was long, similar to Grace’s current looks. Grace is looking like a doppelgänger of her father, as their spitting images are very undeniable. 

“They say we look alike? 💕👼” Wahlberg captioned the post, to which many fans of him agreed. 

“Y’all twinning. My daughter & I too :)” host Mario Lopez commented. 

“Yes, you do look alike. However, she is better looking!!!” another fan posted. 

“Y'all definitely got the 'Wahlberg Squint'” a user wrote. 

Some fans even pointed out that this photo of Wahlberg and her daughter together reminded him of the 2001 film he did with Jennifer Aniston, “Rockstar.” 

“This has to be from when you played Chris (Izzy) Cole in Rockstar! One of my favorite movies you've ever done! 🤘 stand up and shout!” a fan pointed out.
