Jamie Pilar took to social media to post a now-expired Instagram story, where she expressed her grief for the loss of her mother-in-law through a heartfelt poem this Sunday. The Poem is titled “He Only Takes The Best.”

The poem

“God saw you getting tired,
And a cure was not to be;
So he put his arms around you,
And whispered, ‘Come to me’.
With tearful eyes we watched you,
And saw you pass away;
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.”

The poem was posted a day after Beth’s traditional Hawaiian memorial, which took place on Saturday. On the same day, she also posted a photo of her and Beth talking, which she described as her "first tough love experience".

The first memorial service for Beth was held at Fort DeRussy Beach in Waikiki, Hawaii. The event was open to fans to pay their respects and record as her family gave speeches in her honor.

A second memorial service is due to take place on July 13th in Colorado and will once more be open to the public, as per Beth’s request before she died.
