Ingredients:
- 1 stick butter, melted, plus more for greasing
- 1/3 plus 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- All-purpose flour, for dusting
- 60 unwrapped caramels
- 1 18.5-ounce box Chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup sifted, powdered sugar
Add evaporated milk to a box of German chocolate cake mix. Next, add chopped pecans and melted butter. Once everything is combined, you're going to divide the batter. Bake half of the batter for about 10 minutes.
Before the brownies are done, blend caramels and evaporated milk in a bowl. This will be used for your filling.
When you take the brownies from the oven, you can spread the caramel mixture, adding chocolate chips as well. The rest of the batter can be spread on top of the filling. Bake for at least 20 minutes or until the brownies are done.
