Kids Forfeit Season After Being Told Girls Weren't Allowed To Play

You could say that kids are sometimes more mature than adults. It was the case with this 5th grade basketball team who refused to play the rest of the season unless their girl players could join them. Watch the incredible story here.

When it comes to basic human rights, kids seem to grasp the idea better than adults. In this video, we could learn a thing or two from these young boys on a school basketball team that would not let their girl teammates be left out because of their gender.

Before one of their games, they were challenged with this question to include the girls or not. During a team vote, it was unanimously decided on by the young team themselves, to give up the season to stand up for what they believed in. The parents, coach and thousands online have applauded them.
