Kid Gives Up Seat for Pregnant Woman While Adults Passengers Pretended Not to See Her

A story about a kid giving up his seat for a pregnant lady while adults ignored her is quickly going viral.

The older generation is often quick to say that today’s world is very different than when they grew up. They tend to think that the younger generation has very bad manners and only think about themselves. However, this wasn’t the case for one young boy who was caught in an act of random kindness in Malaysia. He was caught on video showing a very compassionate view towards a pregnant lady on a train in the heat of August.

The section of the train he was on was completely filled up with passengers, both men and women. When the pregnant woman entered the train, most of the passengers saw her but no one stood up to let her take their seat. She was very obviously pregnant at the time, but no one seemed to care about her condition. They even looked the other way.

Many people would expect the men to get up and offer their seat to the lady, but they did absolutely nothing of the kind. The women didn’t get up, either. They must have forgotten what it was like being pregnant and on your feet while on public transportation.

Seconds went by and it was quite obvious that none of the adult passengers were going to give their seat up for this very pregnant lady. Instead, this very noble and thoughtful child stood up to give his seat to her instead. What an amazing boy!

It’s truly a shame that a young boy had to be the one to stand up and give his seat to a pregnant lady while surrounded by adults. However, we are glad to see someone from the younger generation acting like a gentleman!

You can see how grateful the pregnant lady is to sit down after the young boy so graciously gave up his seat. As you would expect, the adults are being bashed all over social media, as they should be, for sitting there while she stood. At least this young man knows some manners!
