Kelly Ripa Gushes ‘It’s That Time of Year Again’ While Sharing Thirsty Pool Photo Of Mark Consuelos’ Chiseled Abs

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are one of Hollywood’s most famous and beloved couples. The lovebirds first met in 1995 at a screen test filming for “All My Children.” Despite that being their first meeting, the pair had an instant connection, which the show’s producers probably saw as they hired Consuelos to play Ripa’s love interest in the drama series. In no time, Consuelos and Ripa began a romantic relationship and eloped on May 1, 1996.

Since tying the knot, the couple has become parents to three children. They welcomed their first child, Michael Joseph, on June 2, 1987, while their second child, Lola Grace, was born on June 16, 2021. Consuelos and Ripa became parents for the third time when they welcomed their son Joaquin Antonio on Feb. 24, 2023.

The couple was at it again on July 23, 2023, when Ripa took to her Instagram page to post a picture of her husband posing topless in the pool. Ripa and Consuelos are not only successful in their marriage but have built successful careers in television. Ripa is most famous for being the co-host of the syndicated morning TV talk show “Live! With Kelly and Mark.” She has held the position since 2001 and previously co-hosted it with seasoned television and on-air personality Ryan Seacrest. Seacrest had been Ripa’s co-host for six seasons but exited in April 2023. After his departure, Consuelos was hired to be his wife’s co-host, thus changing the show’s name from “Live! With Kelly and Ryan” to “Live! With Kelly and Mark.” 

Besides being a television show host, Ripa is also an actress and is known for portraying Hayley Vaughan on “All My Children.” She also starred in another ABC sitcom, “Hope & Faith,” where she played Faith Fairfield. 

On the other hand, Consuelos is an actor famous for his role as Mateo Santos in “All My Children.” He also portrayed Hiram Lodge on The CW drama series, “Riverdale.” The father of three has also starred in movies like “The Great Raid,” “My Super Ex-Girlfriend” and “Wedding Daze.” 

In addition to excelling in their careers, Consuelos and Ripa own a New York-based production company, Milojo. The couple remains influential in Hollywood and the entertainment industry at large. However, their relationship and social media shenanigans mostly endear them to fans. Ripa’s Instagram feed is dominated by pictures and videos of her handsome husband. On July 23, 2023, Ripa took to her Instagram page to share a picture showing a shirtless Consuelos in a reclined position in a pool. The actor wore dark shades and board shorts and showed off his chiseled abs and upper body muscles as he tanned in the sun. The picture was enough to get many drooling, but Consuelos’ biggest fan was none other than his wife, Ripa, who captioned the post:

“It’s that time of year again 💦 @instasuelos.”

Many of the television anchor’s followers took turns gushing about her handsome husband and commented on the post. One of the fans wrote: 

“You have such a handsome husband!! ❤️❤️ ❤️ you and Mark were one of my favorite couples in All My Children!! I miss the show so so much!!”

Another fan gushed on the couple, as they wrote:

This is not the first time Ripa has shared thirsty snaps of her husband, as her Instagram feed has multiple shirtless pictures of Consuelos. During a November 2022 appearance on Danny Pellegrino’s “Everything Iconic” podcast, Ripa revealed that she posts thirst traps of Consuelos because she wants to get iconic singer Madonna’s attention. Ripa explained:

“That happened to me when Madonna followed me and Isaac Boots told me. He's like, 'Oh my God. Madonna followed you and I was like, 'What? What? What?!' and I immediately sort of changed everything I posted.”

Ripa added: 

“I started posting only shirtless photos of Mark because I was like, 'Madonna doesn't want to see my kids. She wants to see eye candy.’”

Though Ripa’s posts about her husband are sure to get Madonna’s attention, she has surely caught her fans’ attention too, and they are loving every bit of it.
