Keith Urban And Nicole Kidman’s Daughter Makes Her Runway Debut & Gets Called ‘Girl Version’ Of Her Dad

A new face stepped into the limelight this past week during Paris Fashion Week, proving to us all that we are in the era of celebrity kid It-Girls in the fashion industry. Sunday Rose, the daughter of Australian actress Nicole Kidman and country singer Keith Urban made her modeling debut for global powerhouse brand, Miu Miu. 

Sunday Rose opened for the brand at just 16 years old, following in the footsteps of famous young models like Kaia Gerber and Kendall Jenner. With an Academy award winning actress for a mother and a Grammy award winner for a father, Sunday Rose is taking on Hollywood in her own special way. 

The teenager made headlines with her first show for several reasons - the first and most important being that she had the privilege of opening the show. She strutted the runway in a flowy white cotton dress with ribbon detailing at the neck. The look was completed with dark leg warmers and peep-toe heels. Speaking about the experience, Sunday Rose told Vogue:

"I've been wanting to do this for so long. So, when the offer came through, it was really exciting and now the day's finally here."

Her runway was also a huge moment of pride for her famous parents. Kidman, 57, posted a still shot of her on the runway in an Instagram story. Urban, 56, took the opportunity to talk about the occasion while promoting his Las Vegas residency, focusing on his intention to guide her through her newfound fame.

“Hopefully we can just help her keep balance with everything through all of that…Hopefully she'll benefit by having two parents that know about a certain amount of celebrity,” the singer said.

Fans were quick to flood the comments to react to Sunday Rose’s modeling runway, with many comments focusing on her strong resemblance to her famous father. One fan instantly remarked on the likeness:

“She looks just like Keith!”

Many agreed with this comment, with the young model quickly being nicknamed the “girl version” of her guitarist father. Responses to this likeness were overwhelmingly positive and sentimental.

“Mini Keith,” another user commented.

Others complimented Sunday Rose on her big achievement and the stunning genes she inherited from her famous dad, making her every inch an it-girl. One social media user gushed over her, writing:

"SUNDAY IS STUNNING OMG" 

The positive comments and compliments for Sunday Rose were all over social media, with one user even going as far as calling her “the next supermodel.” However, some people were not pleased with her instant introduction into the fashion industry simply because of her famous parents. 

"Yeah... NO.. Just because you have famous parents, doesn't make you a runway model," someone criticized.

Sunday Rose spent the time she wasn’t on the runway enjoying the rest of Paris Fashion Week. She also attended a Miu Miu dinner party with her mother, rocking a chic black mini skirt, gray socks, black leather boots and a navy-blue sweater. She accessorized the look with a black and gold leather handbag. 

The runway was not Sunday’s first time in front of cameras, and it probably won’t be her last. She has previously attended red carpet events with her mother, most recently, the Her Time at Omega House in Paris, where the two stunned in chic two piece looks.
