Kate Middleton and Duchess Camilla exuded elegance and glamor as they attended the premiere of the new James Bond movie "No Time To Die," which took place on Sept. 28, 2021, at London’s Royal Albert Hall. They were accompanied by their very dapper-looking sposes, Prince William and Prince Charles, who looked very handsome in tuxedos.
The royals walked the red carpet at the star-studded premiere and have become stars in their own right thanks to Kate and Duchess Camilla's incredible outfits, and overshadowed many A-listers who attended. It was a rare joint engagement for the two royal couples, who hadn't yet appeared at the same event together since Prince Philip’s funeral in April 2021.
The release of the movie had been delayed multiple times due to the coronavirus pandemic, but now that it is finally set to be released, it has garnered a lot of celebration. Along with being a premiere, the event also served as a fundraiser that benefitted charities supporting serving and former members of three intelligence agencies according to a press release from Clarence House: the Secret Intelligence Service, the Security Service and GCHQ. The event also raised money for charities supporting previous and current members of the United Kingdom Special Forces.
Naturally, it would make sense for the royal family to be present at such an important event, but according to TODAY, the royal family has always been a big fan of James Bond. Based on William's tuxedo look, he looks like he could be in the running to play 007 in the next movies!
Daniel Craig's most recent James Bond movie, "No Time To Die," is set to be released on September 30, 2021, after being postponed multiple times due to the coronavirus pandemic. The premiere took place two days before the movie was released and brought in a large number of stars who attended. Not only is "No Time To Die" an exciting movie to look forward to, but it is also Craig's fifth and final Bond movie according to GQ. While filming the movie, there was a lot of chaos according to Craig, such as the first director, Danny Boyle, quitting, Craig getting injured, and an explosion on the set among other challenges.
However, as Craig completed his filming and took his final bow of being James Bond, he certainly felt emotional about leaving this chapter of his life behind. When he had to make a speech after his final scene, Craig recalled, "I had a whole thing kind of put together in my head that I wanted to say. I couldn’t get it out."
This means that the "No Time To Die" premiere is uniquely special, and an event that will celebrate Craig's long run as 007 since 2006, when his first film, "Casino Royale" was released. TODAY reported that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge last attended a James Bond movie premiere in 2015 for the opening of "Spectre," while Charles and Camilla were present for the 2012 premiere of "Skyfall." For this premiere in September 2021, it is certainly wonderful to see both couples grace the red carpet.

For the event, the showstopper was most certainly Kate's dazzling Jenny Packham gown which was embellished with sheer panels and gold sequin detailing, while she accessorized with circular gold earrings by O’nitaa and nude heels by Aquaruzza according to Vanity Fair. Jenny Packham is a British designer who is a longtime favorite of Kate, and she is often seen wearing the brand’s cocktail dresses for daytime events.
According to PEOPLE, Craig was quite impressed by the outfit and told the duchess, "You look jolly lovely."
Camilla wowed in a pale-blue beaded dress that she paired with a dramatic broach, and looked quite beautiful as she walked the red carpet with the very dapper-looking Charles, whose tuxedo was well fitted and looked quite Bond-esque. William followed in his father's footsteps with a sleek, form-fitting tuxedo as well, which was highlighted by a suave velvet jacket. The royals were a radiant presence on the red carpet and Kate's dress will surely be one to remember for years to come.
Craig too was a showstopper at the premiere as he donned an eye-catching pink tuxedo jacket according to TODAY. He was joined on the red carpet by co-stars Rami Malek, Léa Seydoux, Lashana Lynch and Ana de Armas. Also in attendance was Grammy-award-winning artist Billie Eilish, who performed the film's hit theme song.
"No Time To Die" is set to hit theaters in the US on Oct. 8. In the storyline of the movie, Bond is retired from active service and relaxing in Jamaica but he's soon coaxed back into action after his old pal Felix Leiter from the CIA contacts him requesting help.
