William and Kate are on a three-day visit to Ireland, and the paparazzi have been following pretty much their every move. But the royals have managed to share some intimate moments together away from the horde of shutterbugs.

According to Hello!, the parents-of-three enjoyed some leisure time on day two at Howth Cliff, a picturesque cliff walk north of Dublin overlooking the Irish Sea. A candid photo shows the couple looking happy and walking with their arms linked together as they took in their surroundings.

Wrapping tightly around each other, William and Kate posed for a sweet picture together at the top of the cliff.

The couple will celebrate their ninth wedding anniversary on April 29. Though we don’t see much of the lovebirds’ public display affection due to royal protocol, it’s obvious that they absolutely adore each other.

Some of the lovely moments between the two that had been captured before are: arriving for the 2017 Christmas at Sandringham holding hands, their embrace at the London 2012 Olympics, as well as when the Duchess blew her husband a kiss as he competed in the 2014 Jerudong Trophy charity polo match.

When they became engaged in 2010, the couple offered some insight on their romance, with William saying of his future wife:

"Obviously we both have a very fun time together, both have a very good sense of humor about things, we're down to earth, we take the mickey out of each other a lot, and she's got plenty of habits that make me laugh that I tease her about."

Kate added, "You know, over the years William has looked after me, he's treated me very well – as the loving boyfriend he is, he is very supportive of me through the good times and also through the bad times."
