Justin Timberlake's Son Silas Left Us Speechless

Justin Timberlake is a modern-day Hollywood legend. The pop singer has led a celebrated career, starting out as a performer on "The Mickey Mouse Club" and then rising to fame as a member of the boy band NSYNC in the 90s. After leaving NSYNC, Timberlake launched a successful solo career, with hits such as "Rock Your Body" and "Cry Me a River" lighting up the airwaves and dance floors worldwide. Timberlake has even started a successful acting career, most notably with his role in the 2012 drama "The Social Network." He also starred in "Friends with Benefits" in 2011 alongside Mila Kunis. 

Aside from his success as a singer and actor, Timberlake has been in and out of the press for his love life for many years. Most notably, the singer dated legend Brittany Spears. In the late 1990s, Timberlake, 41, and Spears, 40, were one of the coolest couples around. They made headlines everywhere they went, and the childhood sweethearts had a huge fan base. They first met on the well-known TV show "The Mickey Mouse Club," but it was seven years before their friendship developed into a romance, reports New Idea. When news of their breakup spread, their fans were devastated.

After dating Spears, he dated beloved actress Cameron Diaz for nearly four years before the relationship ended in 2006. It wasn't long after his breakup with Diaz that Timberlake found the new love of his life. Originally meeting back in 2005, Jessica Biel and Timberlake reconnected in 2007. Years later, in 2012, the Hollywood couple tied the knot and are now proud parents of two sons, Silas and Phineas. The international singer has said that he hopes he raises good human beings. 

Starting to date in 2007, the couple had gotten very serious just a few years in. In an interview with Vogue in 2010, Biel shared that their relationship started off very public. "It's definitely been weird and sort of bizarre to deal with. But you have to have a sense of humor about the whole thing. Honestly, I look at a magazine and they know more than I do," she said. She also admitted how important of a relationship it is. "It's the most precious thing that I have in my life, and I care about it so much that I don't care about what anyone says or thinks," the actress shared. She added, "It's mine. And I really like that about it."

Timberlake shared all the same sentiments about his then-girlfriend. Speaking to Vanity Fair in 2011, the singer said, "She is the single-handedly most significant person in my life." "In my 30 years, she is the most special person, O.K.? I don't want to say much more because I have to protect things that are dear to me—for instance, her," he admitted. 

The two stars got engaged in Montana in 2011 and then married in Italy in 2012. The couple gushed over how romantic their wedding getaway truly was. "It was a really special evening," Timberlake shared with People. "It was a total fantasy experience," Biel added. 

Just a few short years later, the Hollywood couple announced they were expecting their first child. They brought their son Silas into the world in April 2015. The couple had their second child, Phineas, during the pandemic in July 2020.

To say the couple was happy to welcome children is an understatement. When having their first son, Silas, the proud dad wrote, "This year, I'm getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER. CAN'T WAIT," when announcing his wife was pregnant. The couple also has been realistic with the public on their parenting adventure. According to Closer Weekly, Timberlake shared, "If I'm being honest," he sweetly said. "I've never felt more inept in my life. You wake up and all of a sudden there's this human being you're responsible for."

The doting father also shared how proud he is of his firstborn. "My son: it is my honor to be your Daddy. You make me feel a love that I didn't know existed," he wrote on Instagram. "I will ALWAYS be there … to pick you up when you fall, to lift you up when you are ready to soar, and to remind you that your humility will be your guide through this thing called life," he added. 

The couple has remained relatively private when sharing their children with the world. Throughout Timberlake's Instagram and Biel's Instagram, they never show their son's faces. However, they aren't shy about speaking of them in public! According to Closer Weekly, Biel shared what a wonderful older brother Silas was. 

"[Silas] finds him really funny, and the baby thinks that Silas has hung the moon. So, that's really cute," the TV star shared. "[Phineas], of course, wants to do everything that his older brother's doing and follows him around everywhere," Biel shared. "But Silas is the best big brother. He's so sweet, and he's just a lovely guy. We're pretty lucky. They're sweet boys," she added.
