Late-night talk shows can be predictable in a good way. They offer great entertainment, comedy, and memorable moments.

However, viewers of "The Tonight Show" got way more than they bargained for when they watched Jimmy Fallon go head-to-head in a lip sync battle with Ellen DeGeneres.

Jimmy Fallon, 45, is well known for his show, "The Tonight Show," which first aired in 2014. Ellen DeGeneres, 62, is also famous for her own show, most commonly known as "The Ellen Show," which has been going for almost 20 years.

The aim of the lip sync battle is for each contestant to try to convince the audience that they are the better performer. With their combined experience, the two hosts are pros at entertaining. They are also both comedians, so when they came together in 2015 it was bound to be a funny occasion.

With two personalities as big as theirs there was a lot of expectation for them to perform. Fallon started off with The Killers' classic, "Mr. Brightside." DeGeneres followed this up with a powerful version of "Do You Know You’re Going To" by Diana Ross.

Fallon then showed off his dance moves with Silentó's "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)." He had put the time into practice and learn the entire dance routine, and the audience was thrilled!

DeGeneres then finished the battle with a mic drop after a performance of Rihanna's "Better Have My Money." According to Her, Justin Timberlake crowned DeGeneres the winner, and the audience (as well as Fallon) seemed to be in agreement.

What do you think about this performance? It is certain to have put a smile on your face, so pass it to others so that they can feel the same. Have you ever tried a lip sync battle? Let us know how it went in the comments section.
