Nine years ago at the Wiltern Theatre, Merle Haggard, Keith Richards, Willie Nelson, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Kid Rock came together for "Willie Nelson and Friends: Outlaws & Angels" show.

It later went on to be rated the 61st top song by Rolling Stone.

In addition to singing, Nelson also actively engages in activism and attempts to make a change through his music and other means.
