Jennifer Lopez Strips Down To Just Her Shoes & Fans Claim She’s ‘Aged The Best’

Jennifer Lopez is one of the most recognizable faces in entertainment right now — and what a face it is. The actress, singer and dancer have often been praised for how good she looks "for her age," but don't try that backhanded compliment with her. She's not likely to take it sitting down.

Aside from being a fashion icon and a beautiful face, Lopez is known for her stunning body. At 54, she has been able to maintain a physique that not many people 20 years younger than her could ever have. Throughout the years, her intense workout regimen, discipline, and commitment to staying physically and mentally fit have paid off as she continues to be proud of what she has long worked for. 

In Hollywood, the concept of ageism and staying "naturally" beautiful has been a highly debated topic ever since the technology for maintaining one's youth was introduced. While many embraced the beauty that technology can offer, many celebrities, like Lopez, opted to do it the natural way. 

Thankfully, she has those great Latina genes to give her a headstart. As she aged throughout the years, it was almost as if she drank from the fountain of youth because she remained youthful-looking and ageless. For a 2023 campaign, the "Let's Get Loud" hitmaker stripped down to just her shoes and showed off the hard work she puts in to maintain her figure.

Ever since getting back together in 2021, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck — collectively known as "Bennifer" — haven't been able to keep their love out of the headlines. Any A-list celebrity couple is fun to keep up with, but Bennifer is one of the quintessential pairs of the last few decades.

The two met in 2001 on the set of the film “Gigli.” They first began dating in 2002 and were engaged to be married in 2003. But sadly, their wedding was postponed, and then the pair decided to split up in 2004. 

During their time together, the couple became an iconic celebrity romance. There were tons of paparazzi photos of the two of them being affectionate that frequently made headlines. This coverage continued when Ben showed up in Lopez’s music video for her song “Jenny from the Block.”

After their breakup in 2004, they each went on to marry other people. Lopez married Marc Anthony the same year she and Ben split; however, they divorced in 2014, while Ben married Jennifer Garner in 2005, and they were together until 2018.

In 2021, after Lopez and Ben were both finally single again, they decided to get back together. They were seen showing affection to one another at the gym. An insider shared with PEOPLE at the time:

"They were holding hands, hugging, kissing. They weren't trying to hide the fact that they were together. They are very much into each other and being together."

While still in a long-distance relationship, the couple made a great effort to see each other.

Another source said: "They will travel back and forth as much as they can to make things work. They don't want to hide anymore. They are both excited about their relationship. They want to make sure they do everything they can to make this work. Jennifer is incredibly happy. She feels like she can just be herself around Ben."

Lopez opened up about their relationship when she told host Zane Lowe in an interview:

"I've never been better. I've really gotten to a place in my life where I'm great on my own. And I think once you get to that place, then amazing things happen to you that you never imagine in your life happening again … I just want everybody to know that it's the best time. It's the best time of my life."

Lopez also spoke to PEOPLE about what makes their relationship different nowadays as compared to so many years ago: 

"We're older now, we're smarter, we have more experience, we're at different places in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things."

Following a short dating period, 2022 saw the couple get engaged and married and go on a highly-photographed honeymoon in Paris. Between their public adoration and prominent outings together, it's clear that Bennifer is deeply in love and unafraid to show it off.

On July 16, 2022, Lopez and Ben finally tied the knot. According to NBC News, the couple obtained their marriage license in Clark County, Nevada, that same day and wed in Las Vegas.

Lopez shared the news on social media and in her newsletter. According to NBC News, she wrote, “We did it.” 

She added:

“Behind us two men held hands and held each other. In front of us, a young couple who made their three-hour drive from Victorville on their daughter's second birthday – all of us wanting the same thing – for the world to recognize us as partners and to declare our love to the world through the ancient and nearly universal symbol of marriage.”

The newsletter continued:

"It was the best possible wedding we could have imagined. One we dreamed of long ago and one made real. So with the best witnesses you could ever imagine, a dress from an old movie and a jacket from Ben’s closet, we read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives.”

The week following their wedding, Lopez and Ben jetted off to Paris together. While E! News reported that Ben was in the city of love for work-related reasons, it was clear that the newly blended family wanted to spend some quality time together.

The then-newlyweds were spotted with Lopez’s daughter, Emme Anthony, and Ben’s daughter, Seraphina Affleck. "Ben and J.Lo were holding hands and looking at each other adoringly," an eyewitness said. The insider also added that the couple’s kids "seem to be best friends and were holding hands and giggling."

PEOPLE reported that Lopez and Ben also had some alone time together as they enjoyed a romantic dinner near the Eiffel Tower. The two were dressed to the nines as Lopez donned a beautiful long black dress paired with stiletto heels, and Ben sported a black suit.

Another installment in the couple's love story came courtesy of Lopez herself, who shared a TikTok with her beloved in late 2022. The short clip featured Lopez and Ben embracing each other closely while audio of a girl's voice was overlaid on top that said:

"Girls I did it, I found the person that makes me the happiest I have ever been."

The couple looked seriously at the camera before they erupted into beaming smiles, obviously very much in love. 

In an interview with Vogue in November 2022, Lopez talked about newly married life and taking Ben's last name. She explained she was "proud" to do so despite what others have said. 

"People are still going to call me Jennifer Lopez. But my legal name will be Mrs. Affleck because we're joined together. We're husband and wife. I'm proud of that. I don't think that's a problem," the singer said. 

Asked if she would want Aflleck to change his name to Mr. Lopez, the singer replied: "No! It's not traditional. It doesn't have any romance to it. It feels like it's a power move, you know what I mean? I'm very much in control of my own life and destiny and feel empowered as a woman and as a person."

Along with having a beautiful love life and home life, Lopez is also simply gorgeous both inside and out. The singer, actress and dancer has been in the spotlight for several years and continues to amaze us with just how glowy and effortless she always looks.

Back in 2016, Lopez spoke with PEOPLE about how she looks so great at any and every age. “I try to always to get as much sleep as I can so that I can start the day well rested and do my morning meditation and affirmation,” she said. 

She exercises quite frequently. “It’s no secret that I love dancing, so it doesn’t even feel like exercise to me,” Lopez said. “I freestyle dance with Tracy Anderson five times a week. We’ll incorporate light weights (three pounds) for the arms and moves that focus on the butt and thighs and engage the core.”

Lopez said she also did “circuit training,” which involved planks, pushups and boxing. “It’s all about changing it up and keeping your body guessing,” she shared.

Along with this, Lopez has a good diet, ensuring she drinks plenty of water and eats her vegetables. The performer also has other tricks for keeping her skin so healthy and young-looking, as she loves “glycolic acid to get that healthy glow and clear skin,” she “never” goes to bed without taking her makeup off, and “SPF is k-e-y.” She added, “You have to protect your skin.”

While Lopez has shared several tips and tricks to keep her skin looking so great, people can’t help but wonder if the star has had any work done. “I haven’t ever had Botox to this day,” Lopez said, as per the Daily Mail. She continued:

“I’m not that person. I don’t have anything against people doing that; it’s just not my thing. I’m more about a natural approach to skincare… but I want (my products) to work.”

In 2021, Lopez launched her first beauty line, JLo Beauty. Since its inception, she has ensured that the brand's mission was "timeless beauty." 

"Our tagline is, 'Beauty has no expiration date' because to me, ageless isn't just a mindset — you can feel youthful at any age and feel great, not just great for 50," she explained about her line. 

Focusing on age has come to be a bane for Lopez, who delved into the matter further with Elle Magazine:

"You never want to hear you look great for 50. They want to just hear you look great, no matter what age you are. And for me and for the company, that is a big part of it. We don't want people going, you look great for 60, 50, 40, 35. You want people to just go, wow, you look amazing." 

Perhaps the reason why she built the beauty line on this premise was that she strayed away from having injectables ever since she was young. 

"I went to this other doctor with the boyfriend, and again, I was 20-something years old, and I haven't ever had Botox to this day. And she said, 'Did you know you have a little line right here? We should start Botox.' I mean, I had to be 23 years old, right? And I was like, 'I'm going to pass.' I didn't like needles anyway, but the boyfriend's like, 'Yeah, you should start it. I do that.' I was like, no, thank you," Lopez mulled. "And I just wonder what would've happened to me if I would've started Botox at 23, what I would look like right now." 

Lopez's products centered around improving one's face using doctor-recommended care products that would not require the use of Botox, facelifts, or any external surgeries to feel beautiful.

Aside from the idea of keeping one's face feeling and looking younger, Lopez also developed another set of products that caters to people's bodies. 

"We give all this care and attention to the skin on our face, but we sometimes neglect the body," she said on Instagram. "It was important to me to create a skincare routine for the body to address its specific and unique needs, and we started with the booty!"

In her Instagram post, Lopez also uploaded a video of herself with the JLO Body products — sharing her raw self, bare-naked as she looked stunning in the racy promotional video. 

The video was posted on the same day as her 53rd birthday back in July 2022. While many were birthday greetings, a lot of her fans have taken to the comment section to praise her wonderful body. 

"Absolutely stunning! 😍 I love that Jlo takes care of her skin all over her body & not just her face. She's far ahead of the rest, clearly," a fan wrote. 

"❤️🔥Think you are 53, but you take such good care of yourself you look you are maybe 30‼️ More power to you girl‼️👍😀," another commented. 

Lopez stripped down again in March 2023 for the launch of a pair of new shoes for Revolve. The promotional photos showed Lopez wearing only white long-strapped heels as her hair tastefully covered her body. “Starting the week right with new #JLOJenniferLopez for @revolve pics 😍,” the caption read.

Again, fans couldn’t contain their excitement. One user wrote, “Whoever styled this is brilliant! JLo is ON FIRE!!! 🔥🔥🔥” while another said, “I think you've aged the best outta anybody on this planet.... seriously.”
