It is not rare for individuals to be told they resemble famous celebrities. While some people have a natural appearance that mimics that of their favorite stars, others pay thousands of dollars to look like their favorite celebrities. Regardless of how this look is achieved, it can be a blessing or a curse.

One bodybuilder in Texas has found out just how delicate this balance can be, due to her striking similarity to celebrity, Jennifer Lopez. All it takes is one glance to notice that Houston native, Janice Garay, resembles singer, actress, and dancer, Jennifer Lopez, in an infamous way.

Known as 'Jay from Houston,' Janice Garay quickly discovered that she is a nearly identical doppelganger to Jennifer Lopez when followers started going crazy over some of her Instagram posts went viral. According to Women's Health, after snapping a few selfies to post on Instagram in 2017, Janice received more feedback than she could handle on her uncanny resemblance to the native Bronx star, Lopez.

Growing her following to 230,000 on Instagram, Garay has drawn in hundreds of fans who are fascinated with her likeness to one of their favorite celebrities.

Despite her similarity to Lopez, Garay has a body that is uniquely different from the star's if one would take a moment to thoroughly concentrate on her figure. Boasting more muscles than Lopez, Garay has found a challenge in her participation in bodybuilding competitions several times a year. Despite her ripped figure, Garay does closely resemble Lopez in her signature gold, hoop earrings, bold eye makeup, and loosely curled long hair.

Janice Garay was not always known for her resemblance to J.Lo. In fact, born in Brownsville, Texas, Garay grew accustomed to visiting the gym with her mother, who was always modeling a healthy lifestyle. It is no shock that Janice, herself, fell in love with physical activity and living healthfully.

Owner of a 30-day fitness challenge on social media, Janice is also launching her own company, called Lift Within, and is well-known for her charismatic TikTok dancing, reports Women's Health. Her presence on these social media platforms has further made her Lopez-like looks to spread among viewers who acknowledge her close resemblance to the star.

There is nothing fans want more than to see look-alike Janice Garay meet up with her celebrity inspiration, Jennifer Lopez.
