Jennifer Lopez and Her Daughter Emme Look Like Twins In Rare Snap

A mother-daughter relationship is a special one indeed, and there are many mother-daughter pairs in Hollywood that have made an impression on the public. Some memorable pairs include Resse Witherspoon and Ava Philippe, Lisa Bonet and Zoë Kravitz and Meryl Streep and daughters Mamie and Grace Gummer. Another pair that is soon to be loved by the public is Jennifer Lopez and Emme. 

Lopez, 51, uploaded a rare selfie of the two of them on July 18, 2021, and it is quite incredible to see that the now-13-year-old daughter looks just like her mamma. Being a celebrity's child means that a parent will be extra protective of their kids, and this has been the case for most celebrities today in the age of social media. 

Emme making an appearance on Lopez's Instagram has got fans atwitter at how much the young woman takes after her mother, and has invited comments about how Emme will grow up to be just like her superstar mother. In fact, Emme has already shown her talent for singing that she has inherited from both parents. With parents like Lopez and Marc Anthony, it is no wonder that Emme is already on her way to an amazing future. 

Lopez has recently been at the front of major tabloids due to her rekindling a relationship with ex-flame Ben Affleck. For anybody who remembers the early aughts, "Bennifer" as they were dubbed were the hottest couple in Hollywood. Her breakup with her ex-fiance Alex Rodrigues was a big shock, especially as the couple had already been planning their wedding, and Emme had even planned to sing a song for her mom for the occasion.

Harpers Bazaar reported that Lopez spent some quality time with her daughter over this weekend and uploaded a gorgeous sun-kissed selfie. The photograph was captioned, "#WeekendVibes with my coconut." "Coconut" is reportedly the nickname Lopez uses for her twins Emme and Max. 

Both of Lopez's kids have been spending a lot of time with their mom and Ben Affleck this summer. Things have been going smoothly for Lopez and Affleck, who have moved quite quickly through their relationship and it looks like Lopez will soon be moving from Miami to LA where Affleck currently lives. Us Weekly spoke to an insider source who gave insights into the speedy development of the stars' love affair.

"The past few months have been a real whirlwind," the insider told US Weekly in an anonymous interview. "They're well aware some cynics still look at it as a big flashy attention grab and roll their eyes at the speed of it all, but it doesn't faze them one iota. They're fully committed to taking the next steps and spending the rest of their lives together."

Affleck shares three children with his former wife of thirteen years, Jennifer Garner. He's noted to actively co-parent with Garner, being an active part of his children's lives, and even staying in close contact with his former wife. Both Lopez and Affleck also want their children to be okay with the couples' relationship.

"Family and kids are everything to (J. Lo)," the source explained to Us Weekly, adding also that Lopez wants to "respect" Garner, 49, as much as possible. "She's more than willing to be patient and do this at a pace that's comfortable to all parties, there's no rush."
