As one of the biggest Hollywood stars of this generation, Jennifer Aniston has inspired awe and envy with her jaw-dropping looks at the age of 54. Her incredible beauty and figure have galvanized countless media outlets to try to uncover her health and fitness secrets. Aniston rarely lets anyone down when she’s all glammed up on the red carpet, and the same holds true even when she goes for a natural look.
Aniston rose to fame after nabbing the role of Rachel Green in arguably the biggest sitcom of the ’90s, “Friends.” She won an Emmy award for her iconic role, as well as Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild awards. Her character was extremely popular and is considered one of the most memorable female roles in television history. After the show’s run ended after 10 years in 2004, Aniston pivoted her career focus to films and became a huge box-office draw. Some of her biggest hits include “Bruce Almighty,” “The Break-Up,” “Marley & Me,” “Horrible Bosses” and “We’re the Millers.”
One of the industry’s highest-paid actresses, films in which Aniston has played a lead role have grossed over $1.6 billion worldwide. Aniston also established her own production company, Echo Films, in 2008, which is behind two Netflix films, “Dumplin’” and “Murder Mystery 2.”
Aniston made a return to television in 2019 for the drama series “The Morning Show,” starring alongside Reese Witherspoon and Steve Carell. She has also represented brands such as Smartwater, Aveeno, Idorsia US and Vital Proteins.
In 2021, Aniston launched her own haircare brand LolaVie. To introduce a new product to the LolaVie line, the star shared a short video on Instagram in June 2023. However, it was her hair that stole the spotlight as she gave viewers a glimpse of her graying roots.

With her sun-kissed good looks and laidback style, it’s no surprise Aniston has long been a beauty and fashion icon. However, in such a youth-obsessed industry, the effects of aging were bound to affect the star.
In an exclusive interview with InStyle in 2019, Aniston opened up about what it feels like to enter her 50s. "Fifty was the first time I thought, 'Well, that number,'" she said.
"I don't know what it is because I don't feel any different. Things aren't shutting down in any way. I feel physically incredible. So it's weird that it's all of a sudden getting telegraphed in a way that's like, 'You look amazing for your age.' I think we need to establish some etiquette around that dialogue and verbiage," the star actress added.
Aniston admitted that her love for beauty started at a young age with her mother. "I think it's because my mom told me to start moisturizing when I turned 15," she revealed. "I've been using Aveeno since I was a teenager." She also opened up about her love for hair. To the surprise of most, she cut hair starting in middle school. "I cut hair for 10 bucks a head in junior high,” she admitted. This may be a reason why Aniston’s hair has been iconic since she played Rachel on “Friends” back in the 1990s and early 2000s.
Back then, the actress also revealed she doesn’t plan on letting her beautiful locks go gray. "I'm not gonna lie — I don't want gray hair," she shared. However, the actress may yet change her mind after receiving positive feedback about how stunning she looks with gray roots.

As the resident queen of hair in Hollywood, it's no surprise that Aniston eventually went on to launch her own hair care line. Aniston is intensely proud of LolaVie, and regularly shares updates and developments on the brand’s products through social media. Such was the case on June 4, 2023, when the star took to LolaVie’s official Instagram account to reveal its newest product, the Intensive Repair Treatment.
In the clip, Aniston peeked out from behind a sliding door to reveal the product in her hand and explained how to use it. Dressed in casual activewear, Aniston looked stunning with the front half of her hair tied up and the rest of her signature blond tresses flowing down. Touches of graying roots could be seen on the edges of her hairline as loose strands of hair framed her face.
In 2021, Aniston told InStyle how taking a break from dyeing her hair had been enlightening.
“The pandemic has definitely about letting your natural hair fly, and it was really good for me not to color it,” she said.
However, she again reiterated that going completely gray was not something she envisioned for herself.
“While I’m never going to say that I'm personally happy with my grays — all the power to those who are. I had the time to work with my own hair, and experiment with different samples we had been working on with my hair in different stages, whether it was completely dried natural or blown out,” she told the outlet.
While Aniston may not yet be a fan of going gray, her own fans offered some encouragement of their own on Instagram. One user wrote:
“Jennifer, I proudly wear a few strands of silver in the exact same place! Own it! 😉🙂”
