During the 1990s and early 2000s, “Friends” was the sitcom that everyone loved to watch. Even today, people are still raving about the funny show, and the iconic moments it gave us. From Ross and Rachel’s rollercoaster relationship to the many sarcastic jokes, Chandler said, “Friends” was a show made for everyone. “Friends: The Reunion” aired on HBO Max in May 2021 and was full of memories as the cast went through some of the most unforgettable scenes and moments from the sitcom. With an up-close interview, a table reading, and more fun surprises along the way, “Friends: The Reunion” was a beacon of happiness for fans of the show as they were able to relive some of the best parts of the television series.

The main six stars were Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courtney Cox, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, and Matt LeBlanc. One of the best parts that “Friends” have given the cast and viewers is that they weren’t only friendly on-screen while acting as their characters, but this tight-knit group was close off-screen as well. Plenty of other stars made guest appearances on the show, including Reese WitherspoonChristina Applegate, and the late Robin Williams

While many of these guests were great to watch on-screen and great to meet behind the scenes, Aniston revealed that one guest actor, in particular, was not so pleasant to work with. Speaking with Howard Stern alongside some of her co-stars in late June 2021, Aniston talked about how the male guest star had a poor attitude and seemed like he didn’t even want to be there working on the popular sitcom.

During an appearance on “The Howard Stern Show” alongside her co-stars Cox and KudrowAniston revealed that there was one guest star that she did not enjoy working with. She explained how it seemed like he didn’t even want to be on the show, according to Cosmopolitan.

“The funny thing is, that male did apologize about their behavior years later, and just said, ‘I was so nervous, to be honest, that I wasn’t on my best behavior,’” Aniston said. “It was as if they were just too ‘above’ this, to be on a sitcom.” The actress continued and talked more about how poor the person’s attitude was and how he ruined the show’s general atmosphere.

Aniston said, “It was just like, ‘What are you doing here? Your attitude, this is not what we’re all about. This is a wonderful, warm place to be…’” While the actress had plenty to say about her dislike for the guest star, she didn’t reveal his name or give any other information about who he could possibly be. Thankfully, Aniston made sure to prevent people from speculating about certain famous stars on the show, especially Tom Selleck, who played Dr. Richard Burke.

“You just don’t know how cruel and unusual he is,” Aniston joked. While Selleck was a fan favorite for his handsome appearance and charming demeanor, it seems like he was just as loved by the cast. “Tom has an angel’s halo over his head, it’s just a permanent halo over Tom’s head,” Aniston said. It looks like “Friends” fans will still have to speculate about who this mystery guest star was.
