Jennifer Aniston Declares That She Doesn't 'Want Gray Hair' At 55 Years Old

Jennifer Aniston is an American actress that rose to international fame for her role as Rachel Green in the hit series "Friends." Born to two actors, John and Nancy, she came to acting early in life. While attending a Waldorf school, Aniston fell in love with acting at age 11.
She later enrolled at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in Manhattan. After high school, Aniston worked part-time jobs like waitressing and telemarketing to support herself while she performed in off-Broadway productions. She later moved to Los Angeles, California, where she soon hit fame.
Before too long, Aniston landed her most famous role on the hit television series "Friends," which aired from 1994 to 2004. She won a Primetime Emmy Award for her iconic role, as well as a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award. Her character was extremely popular and is considered one of the best female roles in television history.
Aniston has also starred in a number of films and is one of Hollywood's highest-paid actresses. As Aniston ages gracefully, she has admitted one thing she will always do is continue to cover up her gray hairs.
In an exclusive interview with In Style in 2019, Aniston opened up about what it feels like to be fifty and older. "Fifty was the first time I thought, 'Well, that number,'" she said. "I don't know what it is because I don't feel any different. Things aren't shutting down in any way. I feel physically incredible. So it's weird that it's all of a sudden getting telegraphed in a way that's like, 'You look amazing for your age.' I think we need to establish some etiquette around that dialogue and verbiage," the star actress added.
Aniston admitted that her love for beauty started at a young age with her mother. "I think it's because my mom told me to start moisturizing when I turned 15," she revealed. "I've been using Aveeno since I was a teenager." She also opened up about her love for hair. To the surprise of most, she cut hair starting in middle school. "I cut hair for 10 bucks a head in junior high,” she admitted. This may be a reason why Aniston’s hair has been iconic since she played Rachel on “Friends” back in the 1990s and early 2000s.
Still dawning gorgeous color as well as cut, the actress admitted she doesn’t plan on letting her beautiful locks go gray. "I'm not gonna lie — I don't want gray hair," she shared. Coloring her hair isn’t the only beauty trick that keeps Aniston looking as gorgeous as she does. The actress and executive producer take pride in her wellness routine as well.

Back in 2016, Aniston shared her food habits with Elle Magazine that giving the world more insight into how the start keeps herself healthy. "When I wake up, I have warm lemon water and then I have a shake or avocado and eggs, which is one of my favorites," she shared. Aniston also opened up about how she stays active, which is important to her overall well-being. She focuses on meditation as well as has practiced yoga for well over a decade.
In 2016 Aniston was named People’s Most Beautiful Woman and shared with the world how she defines beauty. “Inner confidence. Peace. Kindness. Honesty. A life well-lived,” she shared. As she has aged, she has taken her health and wellness much more seriously than she did when she was in her young 20s.
“It’s funny, it’s a really quick transition from not a care and now all of a sudden, we’ve got to really be mindful of what we put inside our bodies,” she said. “And how we sleep and take care of ourselves. You can get away with a lot in your 20s,” she said. The star also admitted that she takes everything in moderation as she has gotten older. If she wants pasta, she’ll indulge.
"Pasta has taken over as my new favorite go-to-town food," she admitted. “I’m not as strict as I was,” she shared. “It was always sort of a monitored watch. Then I thought just give yourself moderation.”
"I've learned how to make it," she continued, "and it's not that bad for you! It's just an egg, parmesan cheese, and a little pasta water. And we substitute turkey bacon for real bacon, so, you know."
