Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet were one of the most admired power couples in Hollywood. The couple announced their split in January 2022, shocking fans and the media across the globe.

Jason and Bonet were together for nearly 16 years and are the proud parents of Lola Iolani Momoa, born in 2007, and a son born in 2008, Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha, known endearingly as Wolf.

Both Jason and Bonet are accomplished actors. Bonet was one of the most popular actresses in Hollywood in the 1980s through the 1990s and rose to fame after starring in “The Cosby Show.”

Although Jason and Bonet are no longer together, they continue co-parenting their children.

He has made it clear that he intends to stay in his kids’ lives and thoroughly enjoys being a father. His Instagram is filled with loving pictures of him and his children, whom he called his “greatest work of art.”

“I want to be remembered as, I hope, an amazing husband and a great father,” he told Men’s Health.

On Nov. 11, 2022, Jason took the whole family on a trip to “Slumberland” — the red carpet premiere of his new Netflix film — as he brought his two kids, Wolf and Lola, along.

Jason, who was all smiles and having real fun on the red carpet with his two kids, stopped by E! News Online and shared how dynamic and adventurous a family they are, similar to his character in the fantasy adventure flick. Read on to learn more about Jason’s family dynamics and see how much his children are taking after their famous parents now that they are in their teens.

Jason is an actor and filmmaker who has been a prominent figure in the entertainment industry. He made his acting debut in the action-drama series “Baywatch: Hawaii” in 1999 and continued until 2001.

A few years later, Jason went on to star in the science fiction series “Stargate Atlantis.” He found even more fame when he was cast as Khal Drogo in the first two seasons of “Game of Thrones.” Today, the Honolulu native is best known for his role as Aquaman in the DC Extended Universe.

Despite his celebrity status, Jason doesn’t actually want his kids to go into showbiz. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the actor shared his thoughts on his children pursuing a career like his.

“Aw man, one of them wants to do it, and I’m not a fan,” Momoa revealed. “I don’t want them to. I don’t know. I’ll try my damnedest to keep ’em out of it.”

Even though Jason has expressed that he loves directing, filmmaking and acting, among many other things, he said he would want his two children to “go for other things.” Asked if he would approve if they insisted on pursuing such a career path in the future, Jason said:

“If they want to, maybe. But I don’t want them to get into acting. It’s very hard on people, and I don’t want them to have that pressure. I’m tough, I can handle it, but I wouldn’t want to put someone I love (through) that.”

Although Jason is reluctant to let his kids pursue the same career as him, that doesn’t mean he is opposed to inviting his kids to celebrity gatherings like premiere nights. In fact, the red carpet premiere for “Slumberland” was their second time going to a premiere together this year, the first being for “The Batman.”

Wearing what looked to be a purple silk pajama set, Momoa dressed for the occasion on the red carpet premiere of his new film, “Slumberland.” Accompanying him were his two children and ex-wife Bonet

In photos taken at the premiere, the three posed wildly and happily during the rare family outing. Wolf, then 13, was the spitting image of his father, while Lola, then 15, appeared to be very confident and was almost a carbon copy of her mother.

Jason and Lola chatted with E! News Online and revealed what they were thankful for, as the event took place three weeks before Thanksgiving 2022.

“My babies and my family are the most important thing,” Jason gushed. “We always go on adventures, so we go on road trips. We go wild and go camping around the world.”

Asked by the outlet if she had the chance to watch her dad on the set, Lola dished out a pretty big behind-the-scenes scoop for “Slumberland.”

“We were there for most of the time,” Lola said. “It was incredible. Me and my friends choreographed a dance routine to ‘Don't Start Now’ by Dua Lipa, and my dad loved the dance, so he put it in the movie.”

Lola even gushed about the similarities of her father to his character in “Slumberland.”

“He had an amazing time doing Flip because it was so much like him,” she quipped.

Evidently, Jason’s spontaneous and outgoing personality has been passed down to his kids, who were true naturals in speaking to reporters and a delight to see in photos.

It’s clear Jason is a devoted father, often sharing posts of the quality time they spend together. In June 2024, he attended the premiere of the film “The Bikeriders,” and brought now 17-year-old Lola with him. In photos he shared on social media, Lola can be seen looking very grown up. Not only has she inherited her parents’ good looks, but also Jason’s rugged sense of style. Dressed in baggy cargo pants, a skull t-shirt, platform boots and a leather jacket, fans couldn’t help but remark on her striking similarity to her dad.

“Your eyes look like the same! So cute ^.^ Aloha🤙🏼,” one user said, as another wrote, “Loved ❤️ Lola is beautiful like her father.”

“...you are so handsome and amazing man your daughter is beautiful she looks like you,” another user commented.

Naturally, Lola isn’t the only child Jason dotes on. In August 2024, the star shared a video of him and the now 15-year-old Wolf on a boat enjoying the waters as they showed off their stunning physiques. The pair looked to be having a whale of a time as they playfully wrestled and tried to push each other into the water. Users were struck by how much Wolf takes after his parents, particularly his mother.

“Look so much like his mama😍,” one fan remarked, as another said, “Aww he kind of looks like his mom too !! So cute.”

“That boy looks just like his mama,” another user chimed in.

“Oh wow.. now that his son is older you can see the resemblance with both parents,” a user noted, while another wrote, “oh them genes r doing its thing.”

Many felt both Lola and Wolf looked equally similar to both their mom and dad, with one fan saying, “Lola is a perfect blend of her parents,” and another remarking, “Your son is literally the perfect mix of you and his momma.”

Others couldn’t get over just how grown up Jason’s children are.

“He is so big now!!” one user exclaimed, as another said, “That kid is just 15 he gonna be big.”

“Awwww Lola is all grown up! She looks so much like your Mom! Just beautiful ❤️” another fan said.
