Jason Momoa Strips Down, Goes Almost Naked As He Shows Off Loincloth

Jason Momoa may be good at what he does as an actor but trust us when we say he’s also full of surprises, even offscreen.

Momoa is an actor and filmmaker who has been a prominent figure in the entertainment industry since the late 1990s. He made his acting debut in the action-drama series “Baywatch: Hawaii” in 1999 and stayed on the show until 2001. A few years later, Momoa went on to star in the science fiction series “Stargate Atlantis.” He found even more fame when he was cast as Khal Drogo in the first two seasons of “Game of Thrones” – a show that helped catapult the careers of many of its stars.

Today, the Honolulu native of Hawaiian and Samoan descent is best known for his role as Aquaman in the DC Extended Universe.

Momoa also reached an even higher level of success thanks to the film “Dune.” He will also star in the 10th installment of the “Fast & Furious” series called “Fast X,” starring alongside Vin Diesel. 

However, Momoa’s work in the 2010s and 2020s is what has made him the star he is today. Starting off the 2010s strong, Momoa landed the titular role in the 2011 film “Conan the Barbarian.” It wasn’t long before he landed a role on “Game of Thrones” before going on to land the leading titular role in “Aquaman.” He also played the character in other DC movies.

But what makes Momoa interesting as an individual outside his roles on television and the big screen is he can be full of surprises – and he’s been constantly surprising his fans over the last few weeks. 

But can you imagine him taking on an actual job as a flight attendant? Well, you’ll be surprised that he became one, too, at one point in his life.

Fret not, as Momoa hasn’t actually taken on an extra job to make ends meet, although if he wanted to, this video showed he’d be excellent at it.

TikTok user Kylee Yoshikawa, who goes by the handle @livinglikekylee, posted a video of Momoa handing bottles of water out to passengers on a flight. 

But it wasn’t the first time Momoa did something crazy – well, crazy good, that is. In September 2022, he shaved his hair to help raise awareness about single-use plastics.

On Instagram, Momoa uploaded a video of him having his hair shaved off. He held up two cut-off braids as someone in the background proceeded to buzz away the rest of his hair, giving him a neat, short hairdo. “Oh man, I’ve never even felt the wind right there,” he exclaimed as he touched the side of his head.

In November 2022, Momoa surprised fans with another makeover idea — but this time, it wasn’t on himself. On his Instagram page, Momoa posted a video of himself holding a wild pig and talking about all of the changes he wanted to make to its appearance.

In the video, Momoa asked the pig: “You want to come to the ‘Slumberland’ premiere? We can paint your nails pink and put a little top hat on you.”

In the same month, November 2022, Momoa appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live where a lot of things, including about the tattoo he got which he revealed he did for his family.

“It represents protection for my family,” he said. “I got it the traditional way.”

“For my family. And yes, it’s extremely painful. But yeah, I definitely met my ancestors.

Momoa said it took more than two hours to finish the tattooing process but said it felt like he went through it for 24 hours.

In the middle of the interview, Kimmel showed a photo of Momoa deep-sea fishing with his butt half-exposed.

Momoa then explained that he wore it to prepare himself for his role in an upcoming Apple TV+ historical-drama show called Chief of Wars.

“That’s a traditional Malo. It’s what the Hawaiians wear. I’m doing a show. I’m the creator, I’m the writer, the director, and the producer of this Apple series called Chief of War and it’s all 1780s 1790s Hawaii.

“That’s what I wear every day. And I was just getting ready for the role ‘cause I like to get into character. So, I was tanning my white a**,” he said.

Momoa went on to share that he’s liked wearing the Hawaiin malo on everyday occasions so far.

“Oh my God yes. I actually don’t even like wearing clothes anymore. I mean every day. I wear it all the time,” he said.

Momoa was wearing a sleeping outfit topped with a coat he wore in his new Netflix movie called Slumberland.

When asked during the show if he was wearing it, Momoa immediately said yes before stripping down in front of Kimmel and the live audience watching the show inside the studio.

Kimmel, seemingly caught by surprise, said: “I’ve never felt more like Danny DeVito than I do right now.”
