Jaime Lee Curtis And Christopher Guest Celebrate Their 35th Wedding Anniversary

Jamie Lee Curtis and Christopher Guest are celebrating their wedding anniversary today after being married for 35 years.

Their romance started three decades ago when 25-year-old actress Jamie Lee was flipping through Rolling Stone magazine and saw a photo of Christopher Guest she says in O. He was in a feature about his latest movie “This Is Spinal Tap,” and Jamie Lee pointed to his photo and told her friend that she would marry that man. Their love story continued and by the end of that year, her prediction came true and the two were wed.

Fast forward to 35 years later and Hollywood couple have maintained a relationship among the ups and downs of stardom. Jamie Lee’s fantastic advice on a long-lasting marriage was imparted during a Today interview when she said, “Don't get divorced. It's a fascinating thing. I could write a book on marriage called 'Don't Leave.’”

The couple lovingly has that Rolling Stone photograph hanging in their house, Christopher Guest told The Guardian, as an homage to their early days.

“Chris and I have a wonderful, complicated, imperfect life,” Jamie Lee wrote in O. “And a very real marriage. I'll never know why I thought we'd understand each other when I saw his photograph. Hidden in that smirk, I think, was a little secret that only I knew.”
