Jack Russell Diving Dog Leaps From Rocks With Her Owner

The first step is always the scariest, especially when you are taking it off the side of a cliff. Even if you know there is water below, taking that first jump can be daunting. While there is no doubt this is the case for a human, even our animal friends can be a little bit hesitant when it comes to jumping into something headfirst. Yet one little Jack Russell Terrier from Malta relied on the strength and encouragement of his human owner, Carmelo Abela, to do just that.
As a companion to an owner who enjoys swimming and free diving, a little dog named Titti built up the courage to jump off a cliff into the water below alongside her best friend.

When Titti was just a puppy, she began diving with her beloved owner Carmelo Abela. This 55-year-old diver loved diving so much that he began teaching his dog to jump alongside him from a very young age, reports Barcroft TV. Starting off at very low heights and safe jumps, they eventually built up her ability and courage to jump off larger and taller objects.
Just 4 months old when she began jumping off things with her owner into the water below, owner Abela insists she only jumps with him in an environment that is well-controlled and has his approval. He said: “She trusts me and whatever I do, she does it. When I tell her to jump, she jumps. She was hesitant to begin with, but now shows no fear as she takes the jump off the cliff edge into the water below.”

Becoming famous after a video of her jumping from a cliff in Marsaxlokk, Malta, went viral, Titti was simply doing what she loves to do. Launching herself into the calm, royal blue waters of St. Peter's Pool in Malta, Titti and Abela performed a synchronized jump as we have never seen before.
Appearing fearless, the pup seems ready to go as her owner prepares to give her the signal to jump. Going to the edge of the cliff and waiting for her owner, the Jack Russell Terrier soars into the air and is quickly submerged deep into the water below. As she surfaces, the look on her sweet face is priceless.
We must admit that we have never seen a dog with a talent like this before, and many internet viewers agree. As a result, Titti has built her own fan club online. Attracting viewers on social media platforms, many fans followed the adventures of Titti and her owner Carmelo Abela. Unable to contain their excitement when they arrive at beaches together now, Titti and her owner perfected the art of synchronized diving in a cute and unique way.
Sadly, however, Titti passed away in 2019 at the age of 10, according to 89.7 Bay.
In January 2020, Titti's fan page posted the following message: "A year has passed since you crossed the rainbow bridge. You will never be forgotten Titti."
