If It's Meant To Be, You'll Know

If two people are meant to be together, the universe will bring them together instead of keeping them apart.

Wouldn't it be easy to know everything before you have to take a test? Wouldn't life be easier if you could see through closed doors to what's behind them? Wouldn't you have better connections with people if you could see into their thoughts and souls to know how they feel?

Imagine how much power you would wield if you saw your own future and knew your exact path. It would be so comforting to be able to see what challenges you might face in your personal life, professional life, and relationships. You want to see that fifty years from now, you'll still be with the person you love. You want to see if they're the person at your wedding.

But wishing for this is a fantasy. You don't have the psychic power to see your own future or other people's minds. You won't be able to fulfill your desire to know everything about how your life will unfold. You are a character with limited knowledge of your own narrative, and someone or something else is telling the story.

People change throughout their entire lives. Feelings change. Nothing that you think is permanent is actually permanent. You should accept this because the sooner you do, the sooner you'll start fully living in and enjoying the present.

You shouldn't want to speed through your life tasks, especially your relationship! Instead, you should be with someone who makes you enjoy your journey. They should be your closest friend and supporter, someone who makes your life better for being there.

Even though knowing the exact future would provide a level of comfort and security, uncertainty comes with a level of adventure and thrill that you won't find anywhere else.

So you'll go through the meandering, long road with your significant other. You'll encounter territory that you've never explored before, and you'll face it as a team. You'll swim through uncharted oceans and battle sea monsters. You'll keep your hope alive and cherish each other, but you'll always have some uncertainty.

Your hope isn't blind. You aren't hoping that your significant other will ignore every potential problem laying down the road. You aren't hoping that you'll live in blissful ignorance of potential challenges.

Instead, you're hoping that for every uncertain path you take, there will be challenges that you can overcome and endure together. Your hope is that the universe itself has a guiding hand in your role.

If the relationship is meant to be, then it will be meant to be no matter what.

Circumstances won't get in the way. If you find yourself wanting to quit because of life circumstances, that's a sign that you two weren't meant to be in the first place. Your relationship wasn't strong enough to overcome the hurdles together.

If the universe wants you to be with your significant other, you'll find them at the end of everything. The challenges won't matter. The universe is a guiding force that makes life a magical experience. You're going to pull through no matter what happens.

What unexpected challenges have you faced with your significant other?
