The movie star Sandra Bullock has been through a lot in her life, including a messy divorce with her ex-husband Jesse James. But she came out on the other side in a good place with two sweet children and a perfect partner in Bryan Randall.
Tragically, Randall passed away on Aug. 5, 2023, after a long battle with ALS or Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, as reported by People.

After dating some of Hollywood’s best-known heartthrobs, from Tate Donovan to Ryan Gosling, according to E!, Bullock married motorcycle customizer Jesse James in 2005. It turned out that it wasn't to be for Bullock since it came out that James cheated on her multiple times. She divorced him five years later while they were in the middle of adopting a son, Louis.

With the debris of the divorce and an Oscar win for “Gravity” behind her, Bullock turned her attention away from romance and work to her son and family life. But then came 2015, which was a big year for her as she adopted a 3-year-old child named Laila. In the same year, she met a gorgeous model-turned-photographer named Bryan Randall, who was hired to take snaps of Louis’ 5th birthday. Their relationship blossomed, and he became her boyfriend.
Randall also became a wonderful father figure to the two kids, who Bullock characterized as “super kind.”
“For the kids he’s sort of number one and I’m number two,” she confessed to Instyle. “But I get it because he’s more fun and has better treats.”
The “Birdbox” actress is a doting mother and worries about her kids all the time, but she understands that too much worry can be counter-productive.
Her wishes for the future are: “That they grow up happy and healthy and know how much I love them. I don’t want to miss a moment of my time with them and if I keep worrying about things that haven’t happened yet, then I’ve lost precious time with them,” as she told Hello Magazine.
The interviewer further pressed her on and asked if she would expand her family with Randall, but she responded no, and “I think our family is complete,” adding she will “be open to whatever comes our way."
