And who better to call for the job than the Makeover Guy? The Makeover Guy, whose name is Christopher Hopkins, specializes in beauty makeovers. His page posted this video of Karen and her wowing makeover. Karen had been growing her hair out since the first grade.
Her mother gave her a pixie cut which Karen hated, so she vowed never to cut it again until she met the Makeover Guy.
“It’s time,” Karen says. “It’s long hair all over the house that I don’t need. It’s gotta go. It’s too heavy!”
Now that she’s 63, she decided that she is long overdue for a change of pace. Karen’s hair texture was wavy and rippled, indicating that she might have a beautiful natural curl if the hair wasn’t so weighed down by length. “I was pretty nervous driving out here,” Karen admitted before the makeover. “But much more comfortable now.”
Thankfully, the Makeover Guy was here to help! He has become famous for his incredible transformations with clients, and Karen’s transformation was no exception!

Instead of being weighed down by her perpetual locks, Makeover Guy decided to transform Karen’s hair into a beautiful shoulder-length unique bob that had plenty of movement and flow. As an added bonus, she also got some fringe that helped frame her face.
The Makeover guy also gave Karen a fresh face of makeup that made her eyes and smile pop. And when Karen finally got to see her transformation, she was floored by the results! In the video, when she said she feels, “Oh fabulous, sexy, over-the-top gorgeous, a movie star, ready to hit the road running." Karen feels especially excited that the curls she has on now are her natural ones.
But no one’s reaction was better than that of Karen’s husband and daughter.
When they walked into the room and got to see her for the first time, they were in awe of her beauty. Karen's daughter said to her, "You look awesome! I don't feel like I'm looking at my mom, you look great." Then, her daughter covered her face and started to tear up. While her daughter gives Karen a hug, you can hear Karen’s husband in disbelief of how gorgeous his wife looked. “Wow, my God,” he is heard saying in the background.
Her husband exclaimed, "Fantastic! Karen, that's you?!" It seems like Christopher Hopkins, the Makeover Guy, has done it again with his brilliant skill and eye for transformations.
Karen’s transformation video is one of the most watched ones on Christopher’s channel. The video currently has nearly 1.7 million views and with that, a string of comments by viewers who were just as happy and surprised with her new look as Karen and her family were.
“Ok this one is insane,” read one of the top comments. “Like, how did he do that?! That’s beyond incredible. I wouldn’t recognize her as being the same person. From farm girl look to walking the Oscars’ red carpet. Guy’s a genius.”
Speaking of the Oscars, one viewer made a connection between Karen’s transformation to a celebrity. “She reminds me of Elizabeth Taylor! Simply beautiful,” one Trisha Yamada wrote.

In an uncommon occurrence, one commenter even got a reply from Christopher himself! The person, one Kristine Hebel, wrote: "This has got to be in the top 5 best makeovers!!!!" “I surprised myself actually,” Christopher wrote back. “But she was all "go" and so we did.”
