I am being loved unconditionally! Not by a human, but by Shadow. This rescued, abused young pit bull found it in his heart to trust again. He lays on my feet and falls asleep. I have Shadow with me when I move around. He always has a wet lick-kiss ready. The devotion in his eyes says it all.
Sometimes he does not always make the best decisions, but he takes correction well. He listens and he learns. This young dog shares the opportunity for me to love unconditionally in return.
Here are 26 reasons why dogs are the best thing in this sometimes cruel, sometimes unpleasant world:
1. Dogs know how to snuggle to comfort you.

3. You always have someone to welcome you when you come home.
