Sara Baluch faced a nightmare instead of a dream when it came to her wedding day. She never thought that she would have to head to her fiancé's grave instead of to the altar. But that is exactly what happened for this heartbroken bride-to-be.

Saturday, March 9th is a day that will always hold a very painful significance for Sara. Mohammad Sharifi, her future husband, was shot to death outside of a Hixson Pike apartment complex as he attempted to sell a gaming system according to the Times Free Press. D’Marcus White, a 20-year-old man, was arrested for the incident. He has since been charged with criminal homicide. The murder occurred just two weeks before the day the two were to be married.

Sara was devastated to lose the love of her life. However, she was determined to spend what would have been their wedding today together. She planned to head to the site of his grave to spend the day, but nature had other plans for her. Bad thunderstorms ended up delaying her visit for one more day, but she walked up to his gravesite the next day through rain-soaked grass.

Sara was prepared for her day in her beautiful ivory chiffon wedding dress and white veil. As she knelt by Sharifi’s grave, she began to sob over her incredible, unsuspecting loss. While Sara was surrounded by her loving family at the time, she cried over what should have been their future together.

The heartbroken bride-to-be spoke to the news shortly after the untimely death of her fiancé. She talked about the wonderful days of their relationship and how Sharifi had asked her out for a month before she finally accepted. She revealed that they both fell in love with each other in just two short weeks, saying that their relationship was just perfect.
