Aside from being a successful entrepreneur for her brand Goop and a talented actress who appeared in countless films and TV shows such as "Shakespeare In Love," "The Talented Mr. Ripley," and many more, Gwyneth Paltrow is also known for being a loving mother to her children.
Through the years, the businesswoman's children have been in the public eye as their mom is a famous personality, and many fans have witnessed them grow from being cute adorable babies to teenagers.
According to Hollywood Life, Gwyneth Paltrow first became a mother on May 14, 2004, after her daughter with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin named Apple Martin was welcomed to the world, and many supporters have noticed that the girl is almost an exact copy of her mom as they have similar facial features.
It appears that the mother-and-daughter duo has an incredible relationship as they constantly poke fun at each other on social media, including the time when Apple roasted her mom's bizarre products under her Goop business venture.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, as reported by Insider, the actress shared a photo of a handwritten to-do list during quarantine in 2020 written by Apple, which reads, "Make more vagina eggs & candles."
Her daughter was referring to Goop's vaginal eggs made with Nephrite jade that claims to have crystal healing, which turned heads online during the COVID-19 pandemic.
On the other hand, Gwyneth's second child, Moses Martin, was born on Apr. 8, 2006, and many fans have been pointing out that he looks like a combination of his famous parents.
Regarding her relationship with her son, the actress told Ellen DeGeneres in an October 2021 interview that Moses is "proud" of her for being a "feminist" as she loves putting out sex-positive products for women.
Gwyneth and her two children may have been portraying a good family figure to the public based on their social media posts, but there was one moment when the actress struggled with her mental health.
In an article written on CBS News Sunday Morning, the Hollywood star noted that she felt an "incredible rush of love" when Apple was born, and the experience made her reframe how she personally views motherhood.
However, when her son was born two years later, Gwyneth was expecting the same feeling that she felt with her eldest kid, but things took a different turn as she struggled with postpartum depression.
"I was overwhelmed by all of the feelings — most acutely, shame — even though I knew then, as I know now, that Moses would light up my life," she wrote.
Even though her experiences were different after the birth of her two children, Gwyneth noted that she could also see that there were similar things, especially her love forboth of them.
Although things have changed in recent years as they became more private with their personal lives, the actress would still share some glimpses of what's happening around their home on social media.
During Mother's Day in 2022, the star noted that things changed for the festivities that year as they would often celebrate the day by spending time with one another.
However, she decided to break the tradition by letting another family join them for the celebration, and she was hoping it won't change anything in the years to come.
"I am spending Mother's Day with another family we love and hoping my kids continue the tradition of making me brunch," she wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post, as reported by Hello!

On Apr. 9, 2023, the actress shared her annual birthday greeting to her son Moses by sharing a rare photo of him on Instagram, and he looked grown-up at the time compared to what she had been sharing in the years prior.
In the caption, the mother of two noted that her son fills her soul whenever she looks at him. Speaking about his traits, the actress went on to praise him for being "the most exceptional, kind, loving human being."
In addition, she also shared that Moses keeps everyone in their family laughing with his "perfect impressions," and he inspires them with his "harmonies."
Since Gwyneth is known for being a wellness guru who loves sharing her tips and products with the public, the actress also opened up in an October 2022 interview on how her kids take her lifestyle advice.
Speaking with E! News, the entrepreneur noted that Moses, who was 16 years old at the time, would barely let her give him a vitamin. Despite not taking supplements that his mother had been offering to him, Gwyneth said she would not force anything on her kids.
"They were raised in an environment where wellness is important and they will adopt what they choose to, or not. They have free will," she said.
On the other hand, Apple, who was 18 years old at the time, became wellness-curious compared to what her thinking was back when she was in the middle of her teenage years, and Gwyneth is curious about how she would change in the future.
