Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are one of Hollywood's most adorable couples. From the beginning of their romance in 2015 when they were both coaches on "The Voice," to their frequent social media posts about each other where they often declare their love for one another, the couple has shared an incredibly sweet high-profile romance for over seven years.
After dating for over five years, during which both would frequently gush about the other during interviews and on social media, it became a hot topic about whether they'd ever get married, with the couple frequently having to field questions about any rumored engagements.
In 2021, the couple had their gorgeous wedding at Shelton's Oklahoma ranch, which was officiated by none other than Carson Daly, the host of "The Voice." Since then, the couple has been living in wedded bliss, and they've even occasionally performed together while introducing the other as their husband or wife.
After celebrating their first wedding anniversary, Shelton revealed that instead of focusing on his country music career, he is focusing on his family. Stefani has three children: 16-year-old Kingston, 14-year-old Zuma, and 9-year-old Apollo. Shelton said that he loves his career, but he has entered a new phase of his life that looks different than any other phase in his life. Now, he is a doting stepfather to Stefani's three sons.
In the past, Shelton's public interactions with his stepsons have been scarce, as Stefani only occasionally brings her children to media events. However, when Shelton received his rightfully-earned Hollywood Walk of Fame panel on May 12, 2023, he was accompanied by Stefani and her three children. The family of five posed in front of the cameras in a rare public outing together. Keep on reading to know more about the precious moment they shared together.
Before Shelton met Stefani on "The Voice," he was wed to another country music superstar – Miranda Lambert. Not more than five years later, the two decided to split up.
"This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter," they announced in 2015.
A year before their divorce was finalized, Stefani joined "The Voice" as a coach and met Shelton. The timing worked well, and the two met while dealing with their respective divorces. Shelton with Lambert, and Stefani with Gavin Rossdale, the father of her children.
Fast forward to 2021, the two were already happily married and lived together in Shelton's lavish ranch in Oklahoma.
Now, Shelton is more than happy to be a stepfather to Stefani's three children. During an interview from November 2022, he explained that he "married into a family." However, Shelton hinted that Stefani was once concerned about if he would want to be a stepfather. Fortunately for the couple, Shelton grew up with a blended family, too, so it wasn't a huge adjustment.
On many occasions, Shelton has expressed delight in becoming a stepfather to Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo.
"They've taught me something about myself that I never knew: I'm more than just a country singer or a goofy guy. I'm someone they actually lean on, and that's not a responsibility that I ever had and not something that I ever considered even being into," the singer told People Magazine.
"It's a different kind of self-worth. Maybe it's the opposite of self-worth because you put yourself way down on the rung, and they move up ahead of you."

In an effort to spend more time with his family, Shelton, after many years, announced that he would be leaving his chair on "The Voice." Shelton is confident that this next step in his life is bigger than him already.
"If I walked away from my career at this time, the only thing that I run the risk of is having regrets that I'm missing out on some more important things in life. For now, that's our kids. This isn't about me anymore and never will be again," the singer said in the same interview with People Magazine.
Weeks before his impending departure from "The Voice," the Hollywood Walk of Fame honored the country music star with his very own star panel on May 12, 2023.
Shelton's family, dear friends Adam Levine and Daly, were also in attendance, as well as his wife Stefani and their children.
In a sweet gesture to his beautiful wife, Shelton was unfaltering with sweetness in his words during his speech.
"I kind of stopped checking things off my list of great accomplishments in my life when I married Gwen, so this is just icing on the cake," he gushed. "I love you so much, and that's the great thing that's happened along this journey."
After a couple of photos with his friends and family, Shelton, Stefani, and their kids posed for a precious family photo with the newly-minted Walk of Fame panel – proving that blended families work with the help of overwhelming love for one another.
The couple might also be shaking things up in their household as Stefani prepares to leave for her music engagements outside the country, with Shelton taking a larger role in raising their kids, who will be left in Oklahoma.
