Grandma’s One Step Ahead Of Kids Attempting To Prank Her

Grandparents, having raised their own kids, have seen it all. They may allow their grandkids to “fool” them, but rarely truly get pranked.
Two young boys learned that the hard way when they tried to surprise their grandmother by greeting her at the airport with dinosaur costumes on. Little did they know that grandma had an even bigger surprise.
Two years earlier, while flying to see their grandmother, Tabitha Cooper’s young boys received the shock of their lives, the Columbia Valley Pioneer reports. Grandma greeted them at the airport dressed in an inflatable dinosaur costume! When granny decided to fly from Toronto to Shawnigan Lake, British Columbia to visit the boys decided to reverse the prank.
The boys dressed up in inflatable velociraptor costumes before arriving at the airport. Airport workers looked on, cameras in hand, and grins on their faces, as the boys waited for grandma to emerge from the security gates. The boys clearly smelled a victory!

As the video shows, grandma had no plans to let them win. Dressed in an inflatable T-Rex costume, grandma emerges from security rolling her luggage with one hand and holding a coffee cup in the other.
We doubt that a real T-Rex could put its tiny arms to such good use! The boys start waving their arms and bouncing around when they see grandma. One spins and runs around the railing to grab a quick, short-armed, and bouncy hug from grandma. This inspired the other brother, who had continued bouncing and waving, to pivot and run around the rail to grab some attention from grandma.
Grandma knew that the boys would try to get her back for dressing like a dinosaur when they visited her. She packed the inflatable costume in a carry-on bag. Before leaving the gate, a security officer helped her into the T-Rex costume. This alerted the other security officers, who gathered around for the prehistoric reunion of grandma and grandchildren.
Grandma and the boys have work to do to top this spectacle. Will the next trip involve new inflatable dinosaurs? Halloween costumes of superheroes? A game of hide and seek in the airport? Whatever form it takes, we know that they will continue to try to one-up each other!
