It might get a little boring in quarantine these days, but a little boy got to have a ton of fun when his grandpa built him a backyard roller coaster. The lucky kid's mom, based in Maryland, posted a video of the incredible wooden contraption on May 22nd, and the internet immediately started responding.
Twitter user HUNNITBANDBRIA first posted a tweet on May 4th saying "why my dad outside building my son a roller coaster," and there were soon response tweets clamoring for updates. Twitter users also expressed how cool her dad is and wished he'd build their kids a rollercoaster.

Soon, she gave a video update of the structure with a tweet captioned "it’s not done but they having the time of they lives," on May 22nd. Grandpa is shown taking his grandson along on a ride of a wooden rail connected to the garden fence. The little boy is all set up in his rollercoaster car, riding up and down the track. The coaster is almost finished and we can see one end is connected to a garbage can for now.
Only two days later, the backyard roller coaster is completed with an incredible feat of home carpentry! The pair now have their own Instagram account called bubbieandnugget after the initial post went viral, where they were able to reveal the completed roller coaster. Now, the temporary garbage can is gone and the entire track is complete.
