In life, people have ambitions that they want to accomplish; that's why many of them decide to study something related to the field they aspire to work in. However, there are unfortunate circumstances that hinder some people from achieving their dreams.
Fortunately, one grandmother was able to relive some of her most precious artworks through her granddaughter, who did her best to recreate some of them.
An online content creator named Julia, who was 27 years old in 2023 when her videos went viral on different platforms like TikTok and Instagram, shared a heartwarming story of how she surprised her grandmother, Georgie.
In one video that she posted on both platforms, the social media star wore a dress that she created, and the design came from an 80-year-old sketch that Georgie created back when she was a teenager.
In the clip, Julia gave a context as she wrote that her grandmother dropped out of fashion school in the 1940s, and in January 2023, she showed one of the videos of the sweet old lady's reaction to the world.
It appears that Georgie loved the dress as she was surprised to see her walk down the stairs wearing an impressive ensemble composed of a black blazer-like top and a pale rose pink ball skirt.
"Oh my goodness, my goodness gracious. You really did a beautiful number on this," the sweet grandmother praised her granddaughter.
The two went on to discuss the detail of the dress as Julia explained that the entire clothing was "hand put on," and she only spent $50 for the entire outfit.

In the caption, Julia explained that it was the 5th design of Georgie that she attempted, and all of the materials she used, except for the thread, were all thrifted; that's why it was cheap.
In an interview with ABC7, the content creator, who was based in Chicago, explained that the main inspiration for her creation was, unsurprisingly, her grandmother.
"My source of inspiration is definitely my grandmother, I've always been very close with her, and she had these wonderful sketches from when she went to fashion school," she explained.
Aside from social media, Julia was able to showcase her talent and creations at the New York Fashion Week in early 2023, and she explained how she got the big opportunity.
She revealed that a production company called The Society reached out and told her that they loved her grandmother as well as her designs, and that's why they decided to feature her collection. She only had "a little under four weeks" of preparation before the big day, and she managed to pull it off.
Regarding her sewing skills, Julia said her grandmother never taught her how to use the sewing machine as her specialties were only in designing and sketching, so the viral sensation taught herself by watching YouTube videos.
Her followers seemed to have loved her creations as well as Georgie's design as they shared their love and praises in the comment section.
"What precious memories! Your grandma must be so proud, love seeing these!" one wrote.
"Coolest thing I've seen lately! I'm so glad your grandma lived to see her designs come to life through you! You're making her dreams come true," another one expressed.
