Goldie Hawn's Son Oliver Is The Hunkiest Man Alive Today

Goldie Hawn is a beaming ray of sunshine in Hollywood. The 75-year-old actress has been gracing our screens since the late 1960s when she impressed audiences with her Oscar-winning turn in "Cactus Flower." She followed this by appearing in many beloved movies throughout the next few decades and continues to work to this day.
Meanwhile, off-screen, her enduring nearly four-decade-long relationship with Kurt Russell, 70, has warmed our hearts. Their adorable and loving relationship is the sweetest, with the obvious affection they have for each other more akin to a group of teenage sweethearts than a couple that's been together for 37 years!
While the couple continued working prolifically in Hollywood after they got together, they also placed a lot of importance on family. Their blended family consists of children they each brought to their union from their previous marriages, as well as one son they had together. Three of their four children actually followed their famous parents into acting — Oliver Hudson and Kate Hudson, whom Hawn had with her ex-husband Bill Hudson, and Wyatt Russell, the couple's own biological child together.
Oliver, the eldest of their children has grown up to be incredibly handsome and he even takes after his mom in many ways, including her infectious smile that we've all come to love. At 44 years old, Oliver has had a steady career in Hollywood for over two decades. He's also married and has three kids of his own, which has only added to the size and happiness of the Hawn-Russell blended family. Let's take a look.
Goldie Hawn needs no introduction. Born on Nov. 21, 1945, in Washington, D.C., Hawn had one sister growing up and was raised Jewish. She began taking dance lessons from the age of three and even appeared in a few stage productions as a child.
By the time she was 19, she ran and taught at a ballet school, after she'd dropped out of studying drama at university. She worked as a professional dancer before she moved to Los Angeles in 1966, working as both a dancer and playing small roles in television. Her dance background clearly helped her establish a strong presence when performing that worked to her advantage in her career.
Following her move to Los Angeles, Hawn didn't go unnoticed for long and soon she was seen as an "It" girl of the '60s. After working in television for a few years, she switched to movies, with one of her first roles in the 1969 film "Cactus Flower," which earned her an Oscar win for Best Supporting Actress. This set her career in motion and by her mid-20s, Hawn had already begun to make her name in Hollywood.
Over the next few decades, her filmography would grow to include all kinds of films, but her specialty was in comedy. She was also nominated one more time for an Oscar in 1981 for "Private Benjamin," but lost. Other well-known roles of hers include "Shampoo," "Overboard," "Bird on a Wire," "Death Becomes Her," "The First Wives Club," "The Out-of-Towners," "The Banger Sisters" and many more.

Hawn's romantic history tells as much a story of her life as her professional career does. Her first marriage was to a dancer named Gus Trikonis, whom she married in 1969. By 1973, however, the couple had split up. She was involved with a few different men before she met and married Bill Hudson, a singer who was part of the Hudson Brothers. The couple were married in 1976 and would have two children together, Oliver Hudson and Kate Hudson, before divorcing in 1980.
It was then in 1983 that she and fellow actor Kurt Russell began dating. But it wasn't the first time they'd met — in fact, their history is what makes their love story all the more wonderful. Initially meeting in 1966 on the set of a Disney movie titled "The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band," it would be nearly two decades later when they worked together on the movie "Swing Shift" in 1983 that they'd get together. It seems their age difference was the problem when they first met, as Hawn said much later in a BBC interview:
"I was 21 and he was 16. I thought he was adorable, but he was much too young. Then, years later we met up again, and I remembered that I liked him very much when I first met him. We both said we would never go out with another actor so it just shows you never can tell."
After getting together, the couple became inseparable and would even star in more movies together, including 1987's "Overboard," which was a big hit, as well as other movies later in their careers.

The son of actor and professional baseball player Bing Russell, Kurt had his Hollywood debut at a very young age, appearing in an uncredited role in the 1963 film "It Happened at the World's Fair" when he was just 12.
He spent his teen years as a child actor before landing a ten-year contract with The Walt Disney Company in 1966. Infamously, Walt Disney wrote the words "Kurt Russell" on a piece of paper just before he died. Kurt's time working for Disney made him the "studio's top star of the '70s," according to Robert Osborne. By the '70s, Kurt was working frequently in Hollywood, however, he did take time off to play professional baseball, just like his father had. An injury ended his professional career and saw Kurt continue acting.
At this point his career was firmly rooted in action movies, earning him the status of a Hollywood hunk. He had a fruitful collaboration with horror director John Carpenter in the early '80s and began to be nominated for acting awards for his work, including a Golden Globe Award and Emmy Award, however, he did not win.
Before he began his relationship with Hawn in 1983, Kurt was married to actress Season Hubley for a few years, with whom he had a son named Boston Russell. Famously, Hawn and Kurt brought their children from their previous marriages together and started their blended family. In 1986 the couple had a child of their own, Wyatt Russell, bringing their brood to four.

Hawn openly discussed the topic in a 2007 interview with Woman's Day magazine. Asked why they won't head down the aisle, Hawn responded:
"Because we have done just perfectly without marrying. I already feel devoted and isn't that what marriage is supposed to do? So as long as my emotional state is in a state of devotion, honesty, caring and loving, then we're fine."
She went on to mention their children and how they've managed to raise them into "beautiful people," as she added:
"We did a great job there and we didn't have to get married to do that. I like waking up every day and seeing that he is there and knowing that I have a choice. There is really no reason to marry."
Considering theirs is one of Hollywood's longest-lasting relationships, they've clearly proven their point that marriage is unnecessary as long as there is love, respect, and mutual compassion towards one another. Kurt even weighed in on the topic in an interview with the Daily Mail in 2018, as he said:
"Everyone has their marker on what is really important and where you draw the line. For Goldie and me, that core value was this: the kids come first. That big movie I turned down came at an age when they really needed one of us around."
They clearly know what it takes to make a relationship and family dynamic work, even amid the uncertainty of a Hollywood lifestyle.

Probably the most famous is Kate, their only daughter. Kate made a splash in Hollywood at the tender age of 21, when she won a Golden Globe Award and was nominated for an Oscar for her turn in the film "Almost Famous." In the following decade, she dominated Hollywood, appearing as a leading actress in everything from comedies to horror. Since then she continues to work as an actress but has also branched out into starting her own fitness brand.
Like her parents, Kate's personal life is almost as famous as her professional career, with the actress sharing much of her life with the public. A mother to three children, each from different partners, Kate's three kids have become part of the extended Hawn-Russell family tree. And it seems that Hawn and Kurt absolutely love being grandparents!
But Kate isn't the couple's only child to bring them grandchildren — her brother Oliver, who is married to actress Erinn Bartlett, also has three children of his own! And while Oliver might not be quite as famous as his sister Kate, he's established a solid acting career in Hollywood for over two decades. What's more, he's incredibly handsome, taking after both his biological father and his gorgeous mom. In fact, Oliver's beaming, warm smile and sparkling eyes are clearly inherited from Hawn!

His mom was already a very famous actress, while his father Bill was a famous musician too. Unfortunately, after his parents divorced, Oliver and his sister Kate wouldn't have much to do with their biological dad.
However, the children still had a father figure in their lives while growing up thanks to Kurt. Despite not being their biological father, Oliver and Kate have spoken of how close they are with Kurt as if he were their real dad. In January 2020, Kate opened up on Today about the "41-year-old issue" of their father abandoning her and Oliver. Despite the hardship they've faced with their biological dad, she did comment positively on how they were raised by their mother and Kurt, as she said:
"I have a beautiful mother. I have a stepfather who stepped in and played a huge, huge part in sharing what it is to have a dependable father figure in our life, but it doesn't take away from the fact that we didn't know our dad."
In a 2019 episode of The Ellen Degeneres Show, in which Hawn and her daughter co-hosted, Kate brought out Oliver as a surprise guest that even Hawn wasn't aware of. The love between all of them was evident as they talked so openly as if the audience wasn't even there. The topic of the day was embarrassing mom stories, which led Oliver to recount an incident when he and Kate were at sleepaway camp in their youth, and it's truly endearing to imagine.

He's most famous for his turn as Adam Rhodes in the comedy show "Rules of Engagement," as well as the series "Nashville" and "Scream Queens." On top of his acting work, Oliver teamed up with his sister Kate's fitness brand, Fabletics, to launch a men's activewear line named FL2.
After marrying actress Erinn Bartlett in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in 2006, the couple went on to have three children — Wilder, 13, Bodhi, 11, and Rio, 7. Rio, the only girl, has even been called a lookalike to her grandmother Hawn. Considering Oliver got his mom's good looks, it only makes sense that he passed them on to his own daughter.
Hawn and Kurt are famous for their blended family and how close they all are and it comes down to spending quality time together, which is one of their priorities in life. Kurt told Closer Weekly in 2018:
"We always trim the tree on Christmas Eve and we have a big meal. The grandkids put their pajamas on and hang up their stockings. We get the fire going and when it gets dark we always choose someone to read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.'"
Oliver seems to be raising his kids in the same warm family environment that he was raised in, so on top of inheriting his mom's good looks and the acting bug, we think he'll be passing on even more to his children. Watch this space!
