Giant Schnauzer Repeatedly Protects Little Girl And Blocks Her From Swimming Too Far Into the Ocean

Dogs have long been regarded as man's best friend due to their loyalty, fun-loving antics, and dedication to their owners.

Today, we take a look at a champion of a dog named Yatzi, who protects the little girl in her family from wandering too far into the ocean by blocking her path and stopping the impending waves from knocking the girl over.

Yatzi is a Giant Schnauzer, so it's no wonder how dedicated this beautiful animal is when keeping a close eye on her young companion. Giant schnauzers were developed in the Bavarian Alps as working dogs for farmers, merchants, and even innkeepers in the mid-1800s and are regarded by the American Kennel Club as a "Bold and valiant figure of a dog."

According to the American Kennel Club, Giant Schnauzers are easily trainable, loyal, and very alert animals that are fiercely protective over the families they love. Because these loveable giants are such formidable guard dogs, it's no wonder that Yatzi was so worried about the young one in her family of humans.

As their daughter frolics in the waves on a particularly foggy day at the beach, Yatzi's owners start to film as the loyal canine runs into the waves to protect the child from the choppy water. Yatzi not only positions herself to block the violence of the waves from the child, but she also stays close to help her up when the little one topples into the waves.

This protective behavior doesn't only occur when the family heads to the beach, however. Once, when the family was enjoying quality time in their personal jacuzzi, Yatzi panicked as the bubbles started to roll in the tub and carefully snatched the little girl by the swimsuit and pulled her from the rolling water of the tub.

With a watchful eye and a quick wit, Yatzi will surely always keep their children safe from harm as they play in the rolling waves of the sea, the bubbles of the hot tub, and everywhere in between.
