Many memories of George H.W. Bush are being shared across the Internet in light of his recent passing at the age of 94. All of which help the world really see the kind of man he was and the powerful legacy he left behind.
One of these heartwarming moments involved the son of one of Bush's secret service agents.
Patrick was just two years old when his family learned that he had cancer. Moved after the passing of his own daughter to leukemia, George H.W. Bush committed his life to support and caring for others that were battling cancer.

While Patrick fought leukemia and began his treatment, he also started to lose most of his hair. When Bush learned that all of the members of his Secret Service team planned to shave their hair in solidarity, he decided he would shave his hair as well.
While many prominent public figures would extend their support, most would never try something as dramatic as going bald. However, Bush never hesitated to show his public support for Patrick.
The story resurfaced when the U.S. Secret Service Twitter account tweeted the photos this past Tuesday.
In the tweet, readers see that the Secret Service refer to the President as "Timberwolf", Bush's secret service code. A nickname that is synonymous with courage, bravery, and leadership.
This fearless and brave leader certainly demonstrated all of his "Timberwolf" qualities when he shaved his head to support Patrick.
Thankfully, there is a happy ending to this story of strength and support.
In the post, readers can see a picture from 2013 of President Bush with little Patrick sitting on his lap. Both the man and the child have their heads shaved in a show of their bold and brave spirits.
In a second image shared three years later, the President and Patrick sit next to each other, both sporting a full head of hair. In his tweet, President Bush shared how thankful he was that Patrick made it through the treatment and grew into such a healthy boy.
The world continues to remember the inspiration that George H.W. Bush was. He died last Friday at 94 years old.
Our prayers and support go out to the Bush family. All politics aside, no one can deny the bravery and humanity of such a moving act.
