It is a common sight to see many posters at concerts as fans strive to get the attention of the artist on stage.

Attendees at Garth Brooks' concerts are especially known for trying to signal their country music hero as he performs.

Brooks is the king of country music for a good reason. His high energy shows connect with everyone that is lucky enough to be in the audience. One such person was a small elderly lady taking in a Brooks concert in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Brooks thrilled the audience when he started calling on people in the Cajundome arena to take song requests. Suddenly, his eyes went to the lady holding a sign that read "Elvis Was My Last Concert."

Brooks was clearly delighted with this creative sign. It was later revealed that the lady, Miss Laura, was attending the concert with her daughter and granddaughter. The trio of ladies was out celebrating Miss Laura's 89th birthday and they were sure in for a special treat!

Brooks approached Miss Laura, commenting that she looked fantastic for an 89-year-old. He then launched into one of his most famous hits, crooning the melodic "If Tomorrow Never Comes." That alone would have been enough to make Miss Laura's birthday. But Brooks took it one step further, presenting the sweet lady with a special gift.

Now is your chance to watch this precious interaction. It had been over 40 years since Miss Laura's last concert, but we are guessing that it was well worth the wait for her! After you have watched this video, be sure to spread the joy to all of your friends and family.
