Every now and then you’ll see a commercial that’s able to warm your heart and put a smile on your face. This is one of them, and it’s perfect for Christmas.
This heartwarming and cleverly designed commercial was approved for airing by Bouygues Telecom. It’s an advertisement that’s successful because it focuses on staying connected with loved ones, not the features of a product, says Forbes.

At the beginning of the commercial, you see a father popping a tape into a cassette player. Next, you hear the tune “Come and Get Your Love” by Redbone playing, and you see the dad awkwardly dancing towards his toddler, wiggling his booty. The man is wearing just a shirt, boxer shorts, and socks. As the toddler smiles at his daddy, the music continues to play.
You then see the father dancing in front of his son on a snow-covered sidewalk. The boy now appears to be about 6 years old. The boy is smiling, and he starts to dance along with his father. In the next scene, the boy is a teenager, and he’s in the car with his dad. The music is still playing and the two smile at each other approvingly.
The teenager, by now a young man, doesn’t seem to appreciate his father’s behavior in the next scene, however, and he almost looks embarrassed as his dad starts dancing to the same beat in a coffee shop.
In the last part of the commercial you hear a phone buzzing, and the father, who is much older now, walks over to a Christmas tree and unwraps a smartphone. He answers the call and sees his son holding a baby boy. His son asks him how he is, and with the song still playing loud and clear, he starts dancing with his son in his arms and his father and mother at the other end of the line start dancing, too.
This is such a touching commercial you’ll want to watch it over and over again. Please let others experience the feeling of joy it invokes by passing it along to your friends.
