Easter is a time of rebirth and renewal, two things that one cannot help but feel when they hear the little girl in a now-famous video from 2017. At only 6 years old, Claire Ryann Crosby has made a name for herself as an up and coming singer. When she was only 4, the little girl, with the help of her family, released an amazing rendition of “Beautiful Savior,” a hymn typically sung during the Easter season.
The video features Claire in a field of colorful flowers singing in a lovely Easter dress. Claire performs the song very well, having a remarkable gift for understanding both the melody and harmony of the piece. The video is also interspersed with footage from the life of Jesus Christ, from his healing of the sick, to his Passion on the cross, to his resurrection on Easter Sunday. As the song builds to an amazing crescendo, Claire raises her arms, as if embracing Jesus. The video has garnered much praise for Claire on social media and its YouTube page has been watched over 5.8 million times.

Claire’s first major performance came when she was waiting with her father for mechanics to complete an oil change at their local garage. As Claire sat with her father, she began singing “Part of Your World” for the people sitting in the waiting room her dad told KSL.com. Everyone in attendance was very impressed by Claire’s singing and even took videos of the little cutie’s performance. After seeing how much joy Claire brought to the people in the waiting room, Dave thought that it would be an amazing idea to post videos of Claire singing to YouTube.
Claire rose to social media fame when she and Dave performed “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” from Toy Story, which generated over 30 million views. Since then, Claire and her family have delighted the world with appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Little Big Shots. Claire’s Facebook page has over a million followers and her YouTube page has almost a million subscribers.
In the end, Claire’s video of “Beautiful Savior” is a wonderful way to celebrate the Easter season. The little one’s pure talent and encouragement from her family has brought joy to countless people across multiple forms of media.
