Model and actress Donna D'Errico has achieved an inspiring attitude about her body post-"Baywatch." Having starred as the iconic Donna Marco for two seasons of the series, D'Errico is perhaps most recognizable in her characteristic red swimsuit, sprinting in slow motion down the beach. Now in her 50s, the star has since kept a strict regimen of sunblock and veganism to maintain her youthful looks. D'Errico's appearance, however, isn't all elixirs and avocado salads. The actress has always publicly discussed her decision to get plastic surgery.
In February 2017, D'Errico had an "arm-lift, tummy tuck, lipo, and a fat transfer to (her) buttocks — all in one day." Beyond wanting to regain some of that Californian lifeguard spirit, D'Errico was also motivated by the desire to reclaim her body after two pregnancies. D'Errico raised daughter Frankie Sixx and son Rhyan D'Errico with her then-husband, Nikki Sixx, from the rock band Mötley Crüe. The couple met via D'Errico's "Baywatch" co-star Pamela Anderson and divorced after 11 years in 2007. D'Errico, undeterred, has reinvented herself since the split, appearing as youthful as ever.
In August of 2022, the model and actress showcased her beautiful figure to her large social media following on Instagram. Having people previously tell her that she shouldn’t be showing off her body, D’Errico is shutting down the nay-sayers and negative people. The actress and model is spreading confidence through her page. She shares that she is in no way perfect but that she strives to feel confident in her body despite flaws and insecurities.
Just like with her surgery, D'Errico has maintained an upfront and honest stance with her audience in regard to all aspects of her life. After she posted revealing post-procedure pictures, D'Errico professed to feel nervous. She admitted, "I can pose for photos and manage to look smoldering, but in real life, I'm very self-conscious." Despite being featured in Playboy in 1995 — a picture that launched her career — she said, "I really struggle." The comment was heartfelt, and D'Errico encouraged her followers to "embrace the glorious mess that you are."
D'Errico has come a long way to reclaiming her confidence, which was shaken in part by infidelity. During a segment on the series "Million Dollar Matchmaker," D'Errico revealed that her marriage had been plagued by adultery. She expressed the pain she felt from the public's reaction to her husband's cheating, as she said: "You know, what I got was: 'Well, what does she expect? She married a rockstar. She should've gone in knowing this was going to happen.'"
Part of D'Errico's reinvention meant swapping her ex for a much sweeter man: Scout. An adamant supporter of the #adoptdontshop movement, D'Errico took in the tiny four-legged friend with help from the Dexter Foundation, a nonprofit organization that rehomes shelter dogs. D'Errico wrote on Instagram, "When I saw him on their site, I knew I had to have him, and sent in an application." The model and actress is still very much best friends with her four-legged friend. In August of 2022, when showing off her figure, she shared that she and Scout had recently traveled across the country together.

Posting a video to Instagram of her slim figure, D’Errico shared that she tries to remain confident. She captioned the video and wrote, “In no way am I anywhere near perfect but I’m feeling pretty damn good.” Posting a different bikini photo in July of 2022 on Instagram, D’Errico let her fans and followers know that she doesn’t need to hide her body for anyone to be comfortable.
She wrote: “Quite a few women complained about the 4th of July video I posted in a red, white & blue bikini because they thought I was 'classier than that' and 'too old to wear a bikini' and, my favorite, 'desperate.' Let me tell you something that might surprise you. I can actually wear and do literally whatever I want. On that note, here is me in a bikini squatting on a coffee table ❤️.”
The social media clap back rendered over 75,000 impressions and many positive comments. One person wrote: “Good for you! If if I looked that good I’d be posting pictures in a bikini every day! 👙.”
Another fan commented on the popular picture and said: “Those ladies are jealous and want to steal your sunshine. You are a beautiful woman, inside and out. Love you, my friend ❤️.”
The mom of two has every reason to be proud of her beautiful and in-shape figure. Her over one million followers and fans think so too. One fan reassured the model and actress by saying that the negative people need to find something else to do with their time besides bullying D’Errico. “People blow my mind sometimes. Seriously, they need to get a life,” they wrote.

However, the actress and model has continued to do so and shared her secrets behind looking so young. Speaking with Fox News, D’Errico explained that it was around 2013 when she first learned about veganism — thus leading to her new lifestyle.
The model explained that this is one way she has gotten such great skin. “They were happy benefits, like clearer skin, better digestion, better sleep — but that’s not why I do it,” she said. “I do it for the animals.”
She also said that she has “stopped baking in the sun,” and instead uses moisturizer to look glowy. The model noted that while she appreciates the kind words received about her appearance, she hopes to share an important message. D’Errico said:
“I’m very flattered but I just feel like I’m more than that. I understand it comes with the territory. And I understand that when you look at my social media, and for myself, to feel good about themselves. I like to look my best and I do that for myself. I don’t do it to be compared to other women or to be complimented. I don’t do it for those reasons. I do it for me. I do it to look and feel my best …”
She continued:
“It doesn’t feel nice to hear somebody say, ‘You look great for your age’ or ‘You still look amazing.’ Why not just say, ‘Wow you look amazing,’ and just move on?”
D’Errico said that while she doesn’t have “a special skincare regimen,” she strives to “take care” of herself “as much as possible.”
